'Dit is een echt "top-adres". Zowel qua ligging alsook qua accommodatie. De stad is niet erg groot en daarom ligt deze B&B ook zeer centraal. De inrichting is gewoonweg zalig; de ontvangst supergoed en het ontbijt heerlijk! Wij hebben van ons kort verblijf hier echt genoten en zijn met spijt in het hart vertrokken. Wij hadden een queensize room, maar hebben wel een upgrade gekregen in de B&B zelf, waardoor wij een iets grotere kamer hadden. Een aanrader voor iedereen die van een stijlvolle B&B...

'The Inn was in excellent shape considering the era it was built. We felt the accommodations were excellent. The area felt safe to us. We love the staff. The Breakfasts were fabulous. We like the close proximity to Forsyth park. It is walkable to downtown, but be prepared for a long walk down and back. The saving grace were the many green space squares along the walk that had park benches to rest. Overall, very enjoyable visit to the Inn and Savannah. Highly recommend. '

'Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war abwechslungsreich und meistens lecker. Das erste Zimmer (Gentlemans Parlor) war düster und zu kalt, da man die Klimaanlage nicht selbständig regeln konnte. Die nächstgelegenen Restaurants sind zu Fuss15 Minuten entfernt,die Riverfront fast eine halbe Stunde.'

'Sehr liebevoll eingerichtetes Appartement (Henry Suite) mit geräumiger Küche (haben wir nicht benutzt), Garten und einem privaten, kostenlosen Parkplatz. Forsyth Park ist in 2 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Die Flusspromenade erreicht man in ca. 25 Minuten zu Fuß. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig. Kein Frühstück, es besteht aber eine Kooperation mit einem Café in der Nähe, wo man Rabatt bekommt. Die Unterkunft war sauber, kein Zimmerservice. Der Eigentümer war per WhatsApp erreichbar. 'Een echte aanrader : een rustieke inrichting in een historische Inn. Uiterst vriendelijk personeel, en een zeer aantrekkelijke kamer (ook al is het bed wat aan de hoge kant). Wie van charme houdt en aan een redelijke prijs wil bediend worden moet naar The Gastonian gaan : een mooi B&B met ongeveer 15 kamers. Ligt wel iets buiten het centrum van Historic Savannah.'

'We boekten voor één nacht een eenvoudige binnentuin-kamer, en die beviel ons prima: net voldoende ruim, en op de hoogste verdieping ook veel licht en aangenaam uitzicht. Grootste pluspunten zijn echter de uitstekende ligging (op één van de beste plekjes in dit gezellige stadje), en de heel aangename babbel met andere koppels bij de gratis aangeboden hapjes, wijn en dessert 's avonds.
