'Location was ideal. Place was clean, light & for the most part thought out. Nice to have a washer & dryer. I will note that even though there’s a nice coffeemaker, it has no water filter w/i but there were coffee filters without any coffee or coffee pods or tea. There’s a nice coffee shop called the “sentient bean” @.02 miles from lodging and a Kroger’s grocery store not too far away. We walked everywhere. 'We love to be able to walk everywhere and this place allows us to walk to all the stores. The pier is only a short walk. Live music at a few places on Friday and Saturday nights. Also a couple minute walk. Went to the market at the park. Found a great used book store. The only place we drive to was the beach. 'We stay in Big Canoe a lot and this is by far the best location. It is an easy drive from the gate and conveniently located to the club house, golf course, rec center and rock slide. Also, the property is very clean and very nice. I love it that they welcome your dog. The kitchen is well appointed with extra touches that are greatly appreciated. We have stayed at Harley's Hideaway before and we will stay there again.'
