'I traveled and stayed for the weekend with 6 adults. If you have kids, this would be fine as we stayed in a premiere cabin. The bunk bed were tight for us. The sleeper sofa was uncomfortable with the bar in your back and the main bed was ok. The place was clean and the shower had a good amount of hot water. The TV couldn’t get a signal to work. The place overall needs some TLC, but it was overall just ok. '

'We thoroughly enjoyed our short weekend stay in Gettysburg in this rental. It was the perfect size and had everything we could’ve needed and more. 'The location and off street parking are optimal. Who doesn't like to see Abraham Lincoln from their bed or hear church bells chime! Loved some of the historic features! The stairs up the apartment are a cool curve but a lot. A few little things...towel hook near the shower, hook for hand towel, WD-40 the squeaky door, more comfortable seating...would go a long way. Overall we enjoyed ourselves but really weren't in the apartment much over the weekend. Would highly recommend to others!!'

'Growing up in the Gettysburg area, I developed a love of history not only for the Civil War, but among other sites across the U.S. Our friends and my husband and I visited Gettysburg during the month of April, and loved every minute of it! The Thaddeus Steven’s house was a gem! The house was comfortable and we appreciated the historic ambiance that Sarah and John created for their guests. 'This was our second time staying in this property and it was just as wonderful as we remember. We had two grandmoms with us who really appreciated the spacious one-floor accommodations. 'This was such a great place for our family to crash. There is a foosball table, ping pong table and my kids LOVED staying in the great room of pull out beds. There are 2 cozy bedrooms and a great fun room. My kids wished we had had more time to be there to explore the property and play. It is so well equipped with everything for large groups. We are a family of 8, and listings often say they accommodate 8, but are actually lacking in linens and dishes. This space had plenty of everything!'
