'Clean, quaint, quiet! Just what we wanted!'

'Upon entry we were all impressed with the spacious beauty of 309. Everything was clean and inviting. We were left a few household paper products (you'll need tissues and extra toilet paper) and soaps to get us started. Each guest was provided one towel, and linens were left on the edge of the beds so that you know they're clean. You'll have to make your bed upon arrival. The gym space, beautiful balcony area, stunning views of the bay, and close proximity to some great shops and restaurants...

'Great home base for a stay on Chincoteague! Immaculate and modern 3BR with easy access to the pool. We recently stayed with our kids and grandkids. King size master bedroom is on the opposite side from the other bedrooms which gave us a little privacy. Spa-like shower and beautiful water view. The kitchen was well appointed with everything we needed to cook meals and we appreciated the washer and dryer. My kids had so much fun crabbing and fishing off the docks. Amazing sunsets! 'This property was absolutely amazing! We agreed that this place had the best views on the island - it could not be beat. We watched the sunset and sunrise and were in awe of the beauty. The condo layout was perfect for our family - the beds were so comfortable! The host was super communicative and gave us great recommendations for our stay. Be sure to stop by Island Creamery - that was a hit for our family! We would stay at Sunset Bay again in a heartbeat and can’t wait to come back again soon. ...

'Property was clean and in a great location on the island. The GPS did not take us all the way to the end of the road where the inn was, so coming in after dark made it tricky for us to find. We came to go crabbing and the water level is low off the dock in the back so we had to go elsewhere to crab.'

'My husband and I really enjoyed staying here! It was beautifully decorated and had a great view of the lighthouse and channel. We enjoyed watching the many types of birds from the balcony. We could see the ponies grazing in the distant marsh also. Check-in and check-out were easy, and the communication was great. We recommend!'

'The condo was very nice and roomy. Overall everything was nice. However, I would recommend bringing your own pillows and linens. The ones provided were just not adequate. Also the screens on the sliding doors need replacing. Had to keep slider shut because bugs were able to get through where the screen separated from the frame.'

'The condo was great. Fully stocked kitchen with everything younwould need to cook. Rooms were spacious and bright. It was a great location with lovely views on the balcony. The condo pool and gym were also really nice. Loved the island and the location of the condo. We walked to town often!'

'Such a great island to visit. The Bay view was perfect. Got to see the sunset on our first night. Easy trip onto the Island for dinner at Rope Walk and Bills Steak & Seafood. Both were excellent. The bed was not very comfortable and the AC was not the greatest. Overall a great place to stay for a long weekend.'

'Our stay this time was in a different room than last December but just as good! The view was great- location was very convenient. Room clean and orderly. Everything as described. It is perfect for my husband and I, has everything we need. The toaster didn’t work and they replaced it immediately. We stayed two extra days! Loved it! Will definitely book again! Thank you!'

'It was a little difficult to find, but in a quiet area. Bedroom MAY be warm in summer because the AC is only in the living room/ kitchen area. The heat worked very well, but the thermostats were very inaccurate. 50F was closer to 75-80. Even my freezing wife was very warm'

'My husband and I and both of our dogs loved this panoramic hideaway. No matter the weather our view was gorgeous. The design of the home seemed curated and was luxurious and tasteful. I was also able to purchase a temporary pass for the marina where I kept up with my lap swimming. They also offer tennis and pickle ball. (And I think I saw some manicures happening too!). It’s true that you must bring your own food because there aren’t any grocery stores around. It’s a 20 minute trip each way. But...

'We stayed with our adult children, the house is right on the water, we really enjoyed the easy access to the dock. We enjoyed that we had fairly quick access to Chincoteague, but had a much quieter setting than we would have if we were on the island.'

'The house was a great location right by the bay with kayaks and bicycles to use. Convenient to both Chincoteague, a half hour drive to the refuge and Assoteague within 45 minutes. Watched the Wallops rocket launch from the balcony. House was very clean and the renovation was well done down to the detail. The kitchen facilitated everything we needed for daily meals. The neighborhood is quiet and quaint. A great experience for our whole family.'
