'Enjoyed our time great bang for the buck.'

'Enjoy Don's cottage - the screened in patio was lovely to enjoy coffee and do some light office work. Kitchen had enough of everything to heat or prepare simple meals. Hot water was plentiful and pressure good in the shower. Bed was comfortable. The area is very quiet at night but during the day there is a small business next door that you do hear light people chatter/deliveries. I would say this location is like a modern cabin - just enough of everything but still feels rustic.'

'The house was beautiful inside, seemed to be recently remodeled within the last couple years. Property was clean, has a little grocery store right behind the property, I mean less than 50 yards, but you’d never know!! That was super convenient! Main Street was less than a block away! Just an all around awesome experience!'

'A nice house with a great location, easy to get to everything on the island. Having a playground across the street was extremely helpful with two small kids. Only critique was that the twin mattress were slippery enough that my kids fell out of bed. They are both on twin beds at home and we were suprised that was an issue. Other than that great!'

'Property in great condition, pool and fire pit great, being near the beach was nice. The power outlets didn’t work initially, front desk was notified and it was fixed fast. Tv remotes had no batteries, once front desk notified it was fixed. Great parking, safe area. '

'We loved the cottage. Perfect location to everything on the island. Was within walking distance to the seafood festival and shops. The screened porch was a nice place to enjoy our morning coffee. The cottage had everything we needed. The bed was super comfy. We highly recommend staying there. We are considering a summer visit and hope the cottage is available if we do.'

'This property had a plumbing issue at the time we were to be there. Christine moved us to another property, oyster haven. She couldnt have been nicer to accommodate us. Cute place! Convenient as well.'

'This was our second time staying here, with our first being during the summer. The cottage is very clean and overall quite pleasant with a location perfect for bicycling into town and to the beach. However, this cottage really needs heat if it is to be rented during the cooler months. The owner did provide a portable heater at our request, which did warm the place, but was very noisy. Would stay again but only in the warmer weather. '

'We only had a short stay to relax away from work but the weather didn’t cooperate (rainy and windy). Luckily the cottage was cozy and we enjoyed our books and each other. Only suggestion, need a sponge or brush to help in cleaning up after meals. Would definitely recommend to others'

'Adorable little bungalow. Perfect fir a small family. Big plus is it is pet friendly. Walking distance to Memorial Park. This is our 2nd time staying, can't wait to return.'

'My husband and I and both of our dogs loved this panoramic hideaway. No matter the weather our view was gorgeous. The design of the home seemed curated and was luxurious and tasteful. I was also able to purchase a temporary pass for the marina where I kept up with my lap swimming. They also offer tennis and pickle ball. (And I think I saw some manicures happening too!). It’s true that you must bring your own food because there aren’t any grocery stores around. It’s a 20 minute trip each way. But...

'We stayed with our adult children, the house is right on the water, we really enjoyed the easy access to the dock. We enjoyed that we had fairly quick access to Chincoteague, but had a much quieter setting than we would have if we were on the island.'

'The house was a great location right by the bay with kayaks and bicycles to use. Convenient to both Chincoteague, a half hour drive to the refuge and Assoteague within 45 minutes. Watched the Wallops rocket launch from the balcony. House was very clean and the renovation was well done down to the detail. The kitchen facilitated everything we needed for daily meals. The neighborhood is quiet and quaint. A great experience for our whole family.'
