'Uns hat die Unterkunft sehr gefallen. Dies lag vor allem daran, dass man mitten in der Natur ist und es einfach total grün ist. Der Garten ist sehr schön. Die Terasse ist klasse, dort kann man super essen, während Vögel und Geckos da sind. Zu erwähnen ist auch, dass es nachts Geräusche durch Frösche gibt, was wir klasse fanden, aber sehr laut ist und es dahwr ggf Personen geben könnte, die dies stört. Einziger negativer Punkt: es ist nichts fußläufig oder schnell mit dem Auto zu erreichen, wenn...

'We had a positive experience in every way! The location is wonderful - just 10 minutes north of downtown Hilo in a quiet neighborhood safe for walking. Spacious, clean and well stocked home with washer & dryer that we could use. The owner was kind and helpful. Close to a beach side park. Good price for the amenities. 'We are from the Midwest and I would compare this condo (I-31) to a Holiday Inn. It was great for what we needed, and had everything we needed for our satay and great for the cost. If your looking for a highend cando at this price you will not be happy. This is not a highend condo. This is a nice, clean place to stay. We stayed with 4 adults and two kids. 8 and 10. They used the beds upstairs and they very much enjoyed having there own area. They likes the beds and they felt they were comfortable...

'This condo was the perfect place for a family vacation on the Big Island. The unit has been recently renovated and it had an awesome Lanai that we used every day! In addition, the condo included beach chairs and umbrellas, as well as other small things that made the trip easy for us, like dish soap, coffee filters, shampoo, laundry detergent, etc. Finally, the location is perfect. It is walkable to shopping, restaurants and the beach.'

'We only stayed for 3 nights, but Karla's place was in the perfect location for exploring the East Coast of the Big Island and Volcanoes National Park. Karla met us when we arrived and introduced us to her cottage. Her pride of ownership shows both in talking with her and also in all the little things about the cottage that made staying here very convenient and comfortable. 'This little place is just yards away from the waves crashing into the lava cliffs and the ocean breeze keeps the air moving. The living space was very clean and comfortable. It is unique accommodations as the toilet and shower are in a detached bath house. The neighborhood is very quiet and lovely. 'I took a 10-day solo trip to the big island for my 30th birthday. I wanted something that honored the natural beauty of Hawai’i. Mary’s Garden House hideaway was exactly that. The views from her lovely home were incredible and the location allowed me to see more of the east side of the island during this trip.
