'We could not have been more pleased. Our early birds enjoyed sitting on the lanai in the mornings drinking coffee and listening to the light sprinkle in the trees, while watching the local "wildlife" in the yard. 'We decided to rent a beach house to house a few family members who flew over from Catalina Island to come to my Dad's Celebration of Life! Both my Aunt and Uncle from Catalina Island are 87 and 90 Years old. The house was very comfortable and easily accessible with a cane. Although we did experience some rainfall having the rocks embedded in the entrance floor and stairs made it easy for them to go up and down the stairs. 'The property was great. Clean. Functional. Comfy. Based on the pictures we were looking for a place a little more away from neighbors and this isn’t that. Neighbors are right close because the property is long and narrow BUT the way the yard is bordered by trees/other plant life you do get privacy. I feel like a picture of the parking area would make the house easier to find so you would know what you are looking for street side.'

'We enjoyed 4 nights in this condo. The condo was clean and neat, with lots of room for our 4 person group. The balcony had a great view of the water. It was a great base from which to explore the Waimea area and the Northwest coast. It was driving, not walking, distance to restaurants and other touristy activities. 'Waikaloa Colony Villa Condos are conveniently located in the Waikaloa Resort area. They are well maintained and very quiet! Pool area is beautiful! Condo is well appointed with spices, beach towels, kitchen supplies, beach chairs, and pool noodles. Beds are comfortable and ceilings fans keep condo cool enough, we didn’t need to use the air conditioning very often at all. We would love to stay here again!!'

'Our condo stay was a delight. Even though the weather did not cooperate, we enjoyed our time at the pool and beach. This condo was roomy and very clean. We could not get the jet tub to work, so having instructions would have helped. The decor/ art work in the condo was splendid. Sofa bed mattress downstairs needs improving. 'I took a 10-day solo trip to the big island for my 30th birthday. I wanted something that honored the natural beauty of Hawai’i. Mary’s Garden House hideaway was exactly that. The views from her lovely home were incredible and the location allowed me to see more of the east side of the island during this trip. I already can’t wait to return to see Hawai’i, Mary, and her sweet dog, Copper. A hui hou.'
