De Volcano Rainforest Lodge is een luxe vakwerkhuis in een oud bos. GOED NIEUWS! NATIONAL PARK HEROPENT 22 SEPTEMBER! RECENTE LAVA STROMEN ZIJN 20 KM WEG.
We bevinden ons op slechts enkele minuten van de hoofdingang van het Hawaii Volcanoes National Park nabij de Kilauea-top en de vriendelijke kunstenaarsgemeenschap van Volcano Village. Volcano Rainforest Lodge ligt in een afgelegen, privébos van 3 hectare. Elke kamer is ontworpen om de uitlopers van bossen en lava te bekijken.

De lodge is ontworpen met het oog op privacy. Tijdens uw bezoek zijn geen andere gasten op het terrein aanwezig.

De lodge is een 2300 vierkante meter, een niveau, luxe huis met drie slaapkamers / badkamer suites, gastronomische keuken, woonkamer met lava rock open haard, 16 'x 20' eetkamer, en meer dan 1400 vierkante meter van overdekte, buiten woonkamer ( lanai).

De Lodge heeft mangovloeren en deur- en raambekleding. Mango wordt ook gebruikt in de badkamerkasten en spiegellijsten. De deuren zijn stevige kern knoestige Alder. De plafonds zijn prachtige Canadese dennenbomen met rode Western Cedar balken uit Oregon. Aanrechtbladen in de Lodge zijn graniet. Badkamerwanden en -vloeren zijn geëtiketteerde kwartsiet.

Deze prachtige Lodge biedt alle elementen om uw vakantie op het Big Island tot een onvergetelijke ervaring te maken.

De Lodge is als een verademing te midden van het prachtige bos van Ohias en Hapu'u boomvarens; een rustige plek om te ontspannen en tot rust te komen, terwijl u zich dicht bij de verschillende avonturen in de omgeving bevindt.

The Lodge is beschikbaar voor bruiloften, feesten en zakelijke evenementen. Verwar onze eigendommen niet met Volcano Rainforest Retreat.

Elk van de suites met een kingsize bed heeft een Kuerig-koffiezetapparaat, een magnetron, een eigen veranda, een externe deur met sleuteltjes en een tv met groot scherm. De lodge heeft DISH satelliet-tv en high speed internet.

This home was absolutely wonderful! If you are looking for a peaceful, secluded vacation then the Volcano House is perfect. Plus, it is only 15 minutes to Kīlauea. The property managers are amazing! I highly recommend it!

This is exactly what we were looking for on our trip to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. It was only 10 minutes from the park. The place was easy to find, even in the dark. The house is magnificent. Everything was in great condition, clearly well maintained and clean. Above all else, the host was fantastic. She provided very clear instructions and was available to help with any questions. She also went above and beyond and messaged to let us know that an eruption was happening in the park! We were able to head right over and got to observe a natural phenomenon that is unbelievable to see. We probably would have missed it if not for the notification from the host. We are so glad we stayed here and cannot recommend it highly enough. If you are looking for a relaxing, quiet stay by the park, you found it!

This property was beautiful and carefully maintained. My only complaint would be that the driveway was difficult to navigate in the dark. Even so, we all loved it. Very close to the national park. We entered the park multiple times as it was so convenient.

We thoroughly enjoyed the design and spaciousness of this lovely home! Listening to the night sounds of the "jungle" while walking around on the wrap around deck was awesome. Sipping my coffee in the dining room in the morning listening to the sound of silence recharged my soul! It was a great location to stay to enjoy Volcano National Park.

Loved this beautiful, handcrafted home tucked into an amazing rainforest. Loads of space for 4 adults and 2 children. Sitting outside listening to the night sounds of the rainforest was unforgettable. This house has lots of interesting artwork—so I will say that if you have an inquisitive 4-year-old in your group, you will have to keep vigilant watch!! Getting to the national park and Hilo was easy.

This house deserves more stars than 5. The one category that I rated 4 stars was website accuracy because the photos don’t do it justice, from the house itself to the magnificent views from inside each window. Our family group consisted of a five year old, his parents and one set of grandparents and each of us loved this place. We appreciated the cleanliness, comfort and beauty of the setting. There is a lovely wraparound porch and, as the description says, each bedroom has its own bathroom. Beds are comfy and bedding provides warmth for the cold nights. The managers are always accessible and provided immediate help with a couple of issues. The first was with the WiFi, which once reset properly worked great. The second was the water heater which gave up the ghost our last full day. Water heaters don’t last forever and we just happened to be there when this one gave out so we had no hot water for showers or dishwashing that day. We very much appreciate the way this was handled by the managers and owners. I should also note that we discovered that at least two of the bathrooms have on-demand water heaters under the sinks so there was still access to some hot water. There is a lot to see on the big island and we plan to be back. We hope to be able to stay in this house again next time we visit.

Driving into the short private drive up to the house was like driving onto the set of Indian Jones or Jurassic Park without the dinosaurs. Pulling up to the house itself revealed a gorgeous well furnished home with attention to details. Tropical woods throughout, and well equipped modern kitchen, and three large bedrooms each with an on sweat bathroom. Huge picture windows look onto a beautifully landscaped tropical garden. Everything you see on VRBO is what you see in person. We enjoyed dipping in the hot tub each evening and morning before setting off on our daily adventures. The town of Hilo is about a 30 minute drive away and local dining options in Volcano are few, but on the plus side you are just minutes away from the Volcano National Park. That is the only minor draw back to this location.

Gorgeous property and home. Location is perfect for exploring the volcano and a short drive into Hilo. The property is breath taking! We sat on the back porch every night listening to the frogs that sound like birds chirping. The home is very roomy. Every bedroom has their own bathroom. Communication with management was quick and easy. I will recommend this property to everyone that is going to the Big Island. Absolutely 10/10!!

We had a 3 generation group staying for 3 nights - the house was very well located for exploring Volcano National Park. The house itself is absolutely beautiful, and very comfortable. We were sad to leave.
