'Checkin very friendly, the park is super clean, parking easy. Apartment good with lot of extra's like dishwasher, washing machine, coffee etc. Close to the black beach. Although there is not much around the location (20-30min drive for a supermarket), thats not the worst. On the big island everything takes time to drive, so for a relaxing place, this hotel is recommended.'

'What a lovely nature retreat! Peace, quiet, birds. Super easy access to pop in and out of Volcano NP. The house is beautiful and the hot tub quite relaxing after a day of adventuring about the island.'

'This home was perfect for my husband and I for our honeymoon. The views are gorgeous and every sunset is breathtaking! Great spot for fishing as well! The home had everything we needed for when we cooked. Washer and dryer in the home helped a lot! They have scuba gear for you to use, definitely took advantage of that! The bed was comfy and clean. 'All in all, a lovely stay in a peaceful setting. Bit strange description of the "grumpy neighbor"; we did not see him so no comments from our side. The house was clean and fully equipped. In the dark this house is difficult to find though. Hike to the lava cliffs is very nice though!'

'We loved living here! For two incredible weeks, this home was our personal slice of paradise. We lived with the windows and doors open nearly all the time, letting in the breeze, the birdsong, and the peaceful rhythm of the island. 'This is a beautiful place. Plenty of room for our family. 3rd bedroom does have a separate entrance but, it was fine for our older kids! Beautiful drive to get there and beautiful views. It is a drive from bigger areas but, we travelled most of the island so it was kinda in the middle. Would definitely stay there again'

'The sunsets were amazing from this property. I truly enjoyed watching them every night. There were 13 family members staying at the house and there was plenty of room. Being my 60th birthday, my husband and I had the master bedroom. I thought it was fantastic, especially the lanai. Nancy was quick to respond with any questions. I would definitely recommend staying here. '
