'We would absolutely stay here again. I’ll recommend to anyone with small kiddos as having more of a condo with a stove and washer drier is huge! Wish we had more than one dining option on site but Dukes is great! Staff was always cleaning and the entire resort was spotless. Pools were amazing for the kiddos and with the beach walk everything is walkable. Would stay here again '

'The one star rating for communication is for the reservation foul up which was not the fault of the Ala Moana staff, they were amazing! Unfortunately, not booking through the hotel directly caused so much unneeded stress. 'It was a delight to stay there. Everything was perfectly clean and in working order. Having a full kitchen was an extra benefit. Staff was very friendly and polite. We missed having an AC unit, but they were plenty of fans. There were lots of beautiful tropical plants and birds on the property and very nice view of a sunset over the ocean.'

The Twin Fin Hotel

"Het hotel ligt aan het einde van waikiki beach. Maar alles is te belopen want waikiki beach is niet zo groot/lang. Gescheiden door weg van het strand. Vlak naast Honolulu Zoo en Diamond head krater. De volgende straat ( kuhio )heeft bushaltes ( $3 per rit p.p. ) Starbucks zit in straat ernaast. Hotel was in orde maar moet in komende jaren gaan nadenken over upgraden/renovatie denk ik. Vorige keer was ik in het Alohilani hotel ( ook aan waikiki beach) en dat is na de renovatie mooi geworden. Twin Fin was wat meer laid back dacht ik. Let op !! Aan de Diamond head kant zou ik geen zij zeezicht kamer nemen vanwege het hotel dat er vlak naast staat. Aan de andere kant is het uitzicht veel beter. Zeker als je op 1 van de bovenste etages zit. Op de etages staan ijsblokjes machines. Twin Fin is prima te doen is mijn conclusie. Op kuhio street zijn veel winkels en restaurants . En voor shoppen, en een groot foodcourt kun je naar ala moana shoppingcentre. Bus 8 en 20 . Hotel reserveert $250 dollar borg op je creditcard wat later weer losgelaten wordt. Martin "

"Goede ligging en vriendelijk personeel. Iedere dag vrijwel hetzelfde ontbijt. Parkeren is prima, maar wel duur. Hotelkamers zien er gedateerd uit en iedere dag veel lawaai gedurende de hele nacht (ook op de hoger gelegen verdiepingen). Het personeel is weinig flexibel (doen geen late check-out, opslag van bagage voor paar uurtjes; overal wordt een toeslag voor gevraagd)."
