'We had a fantastic time! Our condo was a little dated, but it was so practical and clean with a great location that I didn’t mind. If you stay at The Whaler, try to get a room on the north side of the south tower or the south side of the north tower. Our room was on the south side of the south tower and our view was good, but the other views would have been spectacular! Also, being able to walk to the shops, restaurants and activities in front of of the Whaler was awesome. So much more...

'We had a wonderful stay at Studio Kohala Big Island Ocean View! The space was comfortable, peaceful, and offered beautiful views. Loved listening to the wind at night! The hosts were thoughtful and welcoming, and they even provided yogurt and fresh fruit for us in the morning, which was such a nice touch. We truly enjoyed our stay and would happily return. 'The property had free parking, laundry, dishwasher, air conditioner in the main room only. The view of the ocean from balcony is nice but really good from parking lot with stairway access right down to the rocky shore-great for sunset! 2 mile walk from downtown. Does have rules for pool and quiet time that is enforced - not a party type place, more for a quiet calm environment. Overall very nice!'
