B&B in Highland

'Wij verbleven hier 2 nachten voor onze rondreis in Schotland. De check-in verliep niet zoals wij gewend waren, onze kamer was voor 3p klein maar van alles voorzien. Goede verzorging door gastvrouw Denise. Echt schots ontbijt. Hotel (maar ook meerdere plekken in dorp) konden wat onderhoud gebruiken'

'Het hotel is nog gedeeltelijk in aanbouw, maar ook dan kan het beter. De kamer was klein, wel met een hoog plafond (ter compensatie?), het bed zakte diep in en piepte. Ook waren de veren te voelen. Naast het hotel is een soort van disco, waar tot laat gebonk vandaan kwam, ik was er dan ook op een zaterdagavond. Gek genoeg heb ik wel lekker geslapen.. De douche en wc moesten gedeeld worden, in de eetzaal voor het ontbijt waren te weinig stoelen. Het broodrooster werkte maar voor de helft. De dame...

'Very pleasant room, friendly and helpful staff. Pub downstairs had good food and lovely ambiance. Was unsure at first staying above a pub as I was travelling with my child, but it felt comfortable and safe. '

'We stayed for 3 nights. Location was perfect: near great hiking trails/ beautiful places and there were some restaurants in the same street. The room was a bit small with little space to put our luggage, but very clean and comfortable. Service was amazing. When our shoes and clothes were completely drenched after a hike in the rain, we were offered an electrical heater and some old newspapers to dry our shoes. Our clothes were put in the washing and dryer, so we could continue our holiday with...

'Ett prydligt B o B med en trevlig och diskret värdinna. Välskötta och välstädade utrymmen där all utrustning fungerade som den skulle. Lugnt område med gott om parkeringsplatser.'

'Beautiful home and very hospitable owners. The room was clean (and the rest of the house), although the bathroom was a bit outdated. Breakfast was disappointing because it consisted of supermarket products that were put in the bedroom/fridge, thus breakfast was not freshly made. Moreover, wine and beer in the fridge were quite expensive (e.g., 20 pounds for the bottle of wine) and other stuff in the house were pricetaged which felt a bit weird (e.g., cute teddybear for 35 pounds).'

'Couthy and comfortable. Host is welcoming and the dogs are extremely well behaved and friendly. Room was spacious and so was the rest of the accommodation. Quiet area, so good sleep. Great views and in walking distance of the pub which offers good food and drink at a very reasonable price. Breakfast choices were wide and impressive. Great value for the money and I would highly recommend Netherton.'

'Loved our stay at the White Rose Tower. It has a country setting and is super quiet with a boutique luxury feel. We stayed in the Study room and it was perfect. The hot tub was a bonus! The breakfast was delicious and Liz and Elliot were wonderful hosts. '
