'Casa Encantada is so beautiful with amazing vistas during the day and incredible stars in the night sky. The home is very well appointed, we felt cozy and safe and private and comfortable in the adobe rooms! The showers are super nice, the coffee and breakfast were wonderful, rhe fireplace was so amazing, the courtyard and outdoor dining are lovely and the whole experience felt like someone was taking care of us. 'The cabin and property it was on was just outstanding. I would guess it is the closest accommodation to Black Canyon of the Gunnison NP. Our hosts were very responsive, although we needed very little as the cabin was so well equipped. I wish we would have stayed another day there.'

'We so enjoyed staying at the "Moon House!" As the name suggests, there were little "moon" touches throughout the house from pictures, to a puzzle of the moon and a "Shoot the Moon" game. And, if you wanted to, you could view the real moon through the house telescope. What fun! The hosts, Chadwell and Carissa, were responsive and timely and clear in their communications. 'Rustig gelegen in Paonia, vlakbij Black Canyon en de Elk Loop. Het huis is in oude stijl ingericht en er is alleen AC in de slaapkamers. Het gasfornuis is uit 1940 , maar met de beschrijving erbij prima te gebruiken, ook de vaatwasser is gedateerd, maar werkt nog goed. De bedden zijn van goede kwaliteit. De eigenaren wonen aan de overkant van de zeer rustige weg en zijn erg vriendelijk. Dagelijks kwam een hertenfamilie door de achtertuin even een kijkje nemen. Bij aankomst was het huis erg warm...

'Catulpa Cottage is a hidden treasure. It was just perfect as a home base for us for our hiking adventures off Kebler Pass. Mornings on the deck and evenings by the fire pit capped our days. Visits to nearby wineries and breweries were an added treat. The Cottage is well furnished and had everything we needed. It was very functional as well....with a spacious kitchen and bathroom and plenty of room for all of our gear.'

"Kamer is luxe voor een motel: wij hadden 2 tv’s en 2 airco’s. Badkamer was wel heel erg krap. Het is recentelijk gerenoveerd waardoor alles erg netjes is. Ook goed schoon. Ontbijt is wel wat mager, wij hebben zelf maar wat anders gegeten. Handige ligging voor de Black Canyon. "
