'We could not have asked for a better experience. Check in and out was seamless and the house was perfectly furnished with kitchen and comfortable bed and chairs to relax in and enjoy the view of the surrounding woods. Close enough for day trips to explore the Redwood forests and tide pools with our 11 month old. Would highly recommend if you're looking for a simple, clean, and comfortable place to unplug.'

'Our family enjoyed our stay as we toured the Cal Poly Humboldt campus. Close to so many things it was the perfect launching pad for our time there. Well appointed, clean and comfortable (the king bed in the primary suite was HEAVEN). If my child decides to attend Cal Poly Humboldt I can see us enjoying more time in this home. Thank you!'

'This location is tucked in to McKinleyville, and is spacious, clean, and quiet. It is located on the same property as the owners but that was no problem for me and my family. Also the driveway gets muddy when it rains, but otherwise the pace was great. Well equipped, clean, and cozy. Would stay again.'

'This property and experience far exceeded our expectations. You cannot beat the location or view - the property is beautiful; the hosts reached out prior to our stay to communicate an issue with the propane - would mean no hot water / no cooking the first night. They offered to put us up at another property, but given the heat/ac still worked as did the microwave - we opted to stay. Could not ask for better hosts or hospitality. 'Location was good for us. Home was well furnished and in a quiet neighborhood. Kitchen appliances are upscale and well stocked. And beds were comfortable. All the furniture was comfortable. 'Our stay was so fun! There was room for everyone and the house is quirky-cool and comfy. We loved walking around the neighbourhood. We saw goats! chickens! Red lizards! Friendly, fluffy doggos. Everything we needed for cooking was available. The beds are cozy and the shower on the bottom floor is the bee's knees. Best. Shower. Ever.'

'Great location. The cabin is next to some other cabins, not sure if they’re rentals, or other people who live on the property. So it wasn’t quite as private as I was anticipating. But over all it was a great place to stay for a few days. It might be a little tricky to find if you arrive after dark.'
