To me this is the best place to stay in Huntsville. Super convenient to downtown and major highways. You can see some age in the facilities but I think it’s Huntsville’s best kept secret. I always try to book here

There was no light of the Courtyard Marriott marque. If it wasn't for the Dollar Tree sign, I would have missed the hotel. The outside of the hotel trash was over flowing . The inside smelled stale, no ventilation. The bathroom had mold. The carpet was worn and torn. The hotel provided breakfast to a large group but not to the other guests. Worst Courtyard Marriott ever stayed at. I highly recommend NOT to stay at this location.

The staff and the facility were very good. The bar and the food service was non existent as they were"closed". I booked this property mostly because I wanted the bar and food service. very disturbing!

This property is conveniently located but has seen better days. None of the exterior entrances had working key entries. The hotel was not the cleanest but the front desk staff was extremely polite and friendly.

Where to begin on this property? I should have known there would be trouble when I saw the damaged porte-cochere in front. Damage was everywhere, which caused me to believe there was no handyman on site. Gouges on the walls and around the elevators. One day I saw a cloth towel in the gym. Otherwise, there were no paper towels and the water cooler didn't work. How do you screw up a water cooler? I don't know. In the adjacent laundry room, both the washer and dryer were broken. Half the keycard machines outside were broken. No problem! After a couple days, we figured out that one door near the lobby was NEVER locked. But wait, you may ask, how was the room? Well, in addition to damage on the dresser there was no cover on the light in the shower area. Nothing gives you a warm feeling like seeing exposed wiring over your head after taking a shower. Housekeeping emptied my trash and hung up used towels back on the rack. In the four nights I was there, not ONCE did they make the bed. I chose this hotel because I've had good experiences at Courtyard Marriotts before and Expedia said it had "free breakfast" which was false. I don't see myself staying at a Marriott property again after this experience.

Hello Courtyard, the '80s want their hotel back.

We stayed for one night when we came for a concert. It was a convenient drive to and from the music venue and restaurants we went to, which was great. The elevator is not convenient to the rooms, so we took the stairs every time to and from our room. The staircase and surrounding area reeked of marijuana. There was a roach in our bathroom, which is never a good site. Snacks are extremely limited in the Market area inside the hotel. The bed was comfortable, ac/heat worked well. It was good enough for a quick trip but I'm not sure if we'd stay again.

Hotel needs updating
The mattresses were old and very hard, so none of our family was able to sleep. The bathroom had brown stains on the walls. The hallway carpet was extremely worn, dingy and dirty. When I checked in the desk clerk looked at his computer, said, "what the hell?", and then gave me my room. Everything about the hotel, the bathrooms, the lobby, the carpets and the decor says that this hotel is very old and needs renovation. I am irritated that it is as highly rated as it is on Hotels.com.

You expect a certain level of quality from a Marriott property. This did not come close. The room had visible stains on the rug the refrigerator didn't work. The path to the room they called a fitness center was closed off by literal chains. The pool wasn't open despite being in Alabama and having 90 degree highs. This hotel should lose it's franchise.

Disappointing
There were 2 entrances on side of hotel one entrance door would not open other entrance is a safety hazard because you did not have to use key card to enter. I got to my room and lights to the entrance, bathroom and , side wall which included the TV would not come on. I had to wait until the morning for someone to come. The comforter on the bed was disgusting, yellow and dingy with dirt and makeup that covered the entire comforter . I was so disgusted that I left and went another hotel.

This clearly was not originally a Marriott property. The facility is old, dated, poorly maintained, and not consistent with even Courtyard Marriott standards, The room decor was at least 30 years old, the carpet was filthy, the toilet ran whenever the room next door flushed which you heard, and the swimming pool was half filled with dirty green water and debris. To top it off, there was no coffee in the morning. This is the first Marriott property that I was concerned about the potential for bedbugs. The desk staff were pleasant but could do nothing about the poor quality of the property.

Dishonored and shamed by Property
I was traveling do to conference august 18-20. I prepaid in advance 2 rooms. 1 rm i had to pay at property. They mixed the payments around as if i did not pay and had 1 of my prepaid locked out room for non payment. I had to leave my mic in the middle of speaking. The dishonor and disgrace of what they did. I showed my receipt in which the guy marcus figured out what the manager could not. They even pulled in the 2nd prepaid room in the coversation. calling them asking questions. They tried to swipe my card numerous times although i had prepaid for the room. All day during my conference i had to deal with this. Marcus realize she looked at computer wrong is why she didn't see prepaid. She charge the room extra in which he had to reach out to his authority to change what she put on. Email they sent was to make her look as if she figure it out but she wasn't the one. it was a worker lower than her. I am offended to look this way. My conference was at embassy. I should have had my conference there. I am hurt by the whole thing. the shame they placed on our stay. the lady even made mention i didn't pay my stay at property. It was an insult to be at that property

Not a great stay.
The hotel is older and overpriced for the accommodations offered. Our bed didn’t even have a comforter on it but our sons did. Room didn’t have a microwave and the restaurant was closed on Saturday morning because the staff didn’t show up so there were no breakfast options at all on Saturday. They did give us breakfast on Sunday but I wouldn’t stay here again. We stayed a few miles away in another hotel on Sunday that was very clean and provided all services listed.
