Book at your own risk
First red flag was walking up to the door and a woman who was staying there told me to get my money back because they haven’t had hot water for a couple weeks, roaches and it was dirty. I still wanted to give the place a chance since we drive 6 hrs was pretty exhausted and it was getting late. Checking in went well until we asked if we can take a look at the room. She didn’t want to but she let us check it out anyways. We proceeded to go look at the room. We took a few steps and turn on the light and it was filthy! The fridge was so rusty! The floors sticky the lights barely wanted to stay on. It kinda reminded me of the movie hostel. We’re also traveling with our puppy and ain’t no way I was going to put our baby in that room. We didn’t stay. The clerk told us we’ll be paying for a night even though we left but Hotel.com got our money back! Thanks!

I travel a lot and know about the sexual predator database check. But I had never been told straight up by the desk lady that my name would be checked. Maybe its an Alabama thing, or maybe its happened at this place. I dunno. Besides that weird intro, all the rooms had kitchenets but no coffee maker. And seeing bug traps in random corners was also not great. But I didnt see any bugs, so that's good that the traps arent necessary. Listen, I just wanted an enclosed space with a locking door. And thats exactly what I got and not a single thing more.

4 out 5; good not great; best for solo/business
Overall 4 stars. Decent budget stay for a solo business trip for a week. Area was okay, well illuminated, right next to an Extended Stay, and across from a Walmart. The building was modern-ish with cameras, and everything works that's supposed to. It was probably renovated in the last few years, but you can also tell where they tried to save money, for example old, broken door trim in the bathroom, which a modern hotel wouldn't have that. The biggest downside are the walls/floors are thin, and you can hear everything above and next to you, and it's amplified louder because the rooms have hardwood floors instead of carpet to help muffle the noise. If you're a light sleeper, beware, I'd look elsewhere. Lastly, the smell in the hallways was bearable, but because they have both smoking and non-smoking rooms in the building, you can can easily notice walking in the hallway the smell of smoke from other rooms, and it wasn't always tobacco. Thankfully once you're inside your own room, I couldn't notice any smell. If you're sensitive to any smoke smell, beware, I'd recommend finding somewhere else. Wouldn't recommend for couples or families. Really best suited for individuals and business travelers on extended trips on a budget. Overall, it was fine, and it got the job done for my needs. If they could work on some of the things mentioned above, then it could easily be a 5/5 budget stay for extended solo or business people.

The staff was great but, this was by far the worst hotel I’ve ever attempted to stay at. This hotel has roaches. There was a rusted refrigerator in our room and the kitchen area was not clean. Do your research before you book. These prices are low low for a reason.

Staff was awesome. It’s a shame the company doesn’t seem to reflect that in their hotel standards. Rundown broken alliances and bathrooms. It’s a shame when you feel like you should be paying by the hour when you stay there.
