'My son and I had a great stay! The unit was very clean and comfortable. The location was great. It is within walking distance to 3 wineries and two or three restaurants. 'Serenity on the Lake is "Serenity on the Lake". Lovely place to stay. Beautiful decor, quiet and peaceful. Bob and Elaine are excellent hosts- they made us feel at home and were very helpful in anything we needed. The pictures on Vrbo are exactly as the room appears. Cozy and has privacy. We had a great time. We would definitely stay again at Serenity on the Lake and will highly recommend it to others. We give it 10/10 rating. Thank you Bob and Elaine.'

'We really enjoyed staying in this little home. It is within walking distance of downtown Watkins Glen so it is very easy to walk to if you choose to do so. The inside was very clean and well kept. We liked the close proximity to various winerys and restaurants. It made it very easy to stop back and drop off our goodies we collected throughout the days we were there.'

'This place has a great location. The neighborhood is safe and so quiet. All of the beds are very comfortable. The only drawback is that this is not the entire house. We were surprised there is an upstairs apartment. We did not see any mention of this in the narrative. The folks upstairs were quiet, so it was fine. Also, it stated there was a hot tub and sauna, which there were not. Not a big deal for us and we we still enjoyed ourselves.'

'This is a HUGE apartment that is tastefully decorated with antiques and original artwork. I loved all the exposed brick and big windows in the master bedroom. The linens were very nice. 'We had a great weekend staying in the property. The wood burner was great for a chilly early spring weekend, Elizabeth was very clear and accommodating in her communications making it very easy and everything was just great. My only regret is not booking the third night to stay for the Solar Eclipse and to get to explore the property further. We thoroughly enjoyed the area and the accommodations at the Yurt were perfect for my wife and I!'
