'The family friends we were meeting who grew up in the area unfortunately had a relative pass away so we were on our own exploring the area; however, the house, mainly the front deck was a great area to gather and enjoy everyone's company; we also had their kids stay with us as a distraction and there was plenty of room; my wife and kids loved the sound of the farm, moos at different times of the day.'

Not only that historic house is greatly upgraded, but its location close to Seneca lake and animals farm makes it unique for vacation, or work out of the office. While we didn’t have a lot of time to fully appreciate the property, we did spend time perusing the gorgeous bird books and reflecting on the journaling book that detailed the building of this beautiful barn & property. 'We were not aware or informed prior to our stay of extreme water leak damages, uncleaned toilets /bathroom, broken bed, fire pit, pool, hot tub (waiting on a piece), poor water systems and smell. We had to purchase cleaning supplies, bedding and water for cooking, washing dishes and to brush our teeth to sustain during our committed stay. 'We had a great time relaxing by the fire pit. Everything we needed to keep a good fire going for multiple nights was provided. Close by to good breakfasts at Angels, and just a short drive to Watkins Glenn and other attractions by the lake.'

The wood burner was great for a chilly early spring weekend, Elizabeth was very clear and accommodating in her communications making it very easy and everything was just great. My only regret is not booking the third night to stay for the Solar Eclipse and to get to explore the property further. 'The location of the cabin was very convenient to a good amount of wineries. We visited 9 and didn’t have to drive any further than maybe 20 minutes, many of them were within a 5 minute drive.
