This is a nice, cozy property. Great location near many wineries. Close enough for a day trip to waterfalls. It's pet friendly, which was great for our 2 small dogs. The beds are very comfortable. There was plenty of space for the 6 of us to eat a meal or play games around the large dinning room table. The kitchen was well stocked and great for making pizzas and cooking breakfast. The pier and beach fire pit was fun and relaxing on a crisp fall evening. The only challenge at this place is that you have to cross a busy road to get to the beach. The host is upfront about this. It was not a problem for our group of 3 couples and small dogs. But it could be slightly challenging for famlies with small children and high energy pets. Overall this place exceeded my expectations. I would recommend it for a getaway to wine county in the Fingerlakes.

Perfect escape on the lake! Location was perfect, views amazing, home spotless, comfortable and stocked with everything you could need. Check in smooth, as was all communication with our host. Beautiful dock, beach area with plenty of seating, kayaks and floats. We would definitely visit again and would recommend this beautiful lakefront home. This Lake House is wonderful! The house is clean, well stocked, and beautifully decorated. The beds/pillows are very comfortable. We loved sitting on the front porch looking at the lake! We enjoyed our meals and card games at the large dining table. The private beach area and dock is a bonus! We enjoyed a wonderful fire on the beach and had a nice time kayaking and floating in the lake! This house is in the perfect location- close to many wineries. Sauders Amish grocery store is a short 15 min drive away too. Thank you Jaclyn for being a wonderful host! I highly recommend a stay at the Joyce Lake House!

It had everything you need to enjoy a day on the lake - floats, chairs, and a new immaculate dock! The house is also close to so many wineries (right in the middle of the wine trail!!) we can’t wait to come back!

Perfect home that offers everything!

This was the best-stocked rental we have ever stayed in. Perfect location in the middle of so many different activities, hiking, good wine, and good food. Joyce was very responsive and helpful. We would absolutely come back. We enjoyed time on the water, especially on their brand new deck that was perfect for stargazing.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful VRBO house, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how immaculate and well-maintained the property was. The house is spacious, clean, and thoughtfully appointed with everything you could need. The kitchen was fully stocked with plenty of supplies, making it easy to cook and enjoy meals at home. The beds and pillows were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep, and the towels were soft and luxurious—such a nice touch! One of my favorite features was the wine swap shelf. It was such a unique and thoughtful idea! It was a fun way to try a new wine and leave a bottle for the next guests. It really made the stay feel extra special. Although I had initially thought the house was directly on the water, it is actually just across the street. However, this wasn’t an issue at all. We still enjoyed beautiful views and the peaceful atmosphere that comes with being so close to the water. It was a small mix-up on my part, but it certainly didn’t impact our stay. The host was also very attentive and reached out to make sure we arrived safely and that everything was going well, which I really appreciated. Overall, this house is a fantastic choice for anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable getaway. I highly recommend it and would definitely return!

This property was VERY clean and comfortable, which is very important to us. The house is very well maintained with all modern amenities. Our host, Jackie, did an excellent job in communicating with us. During our stay we had to contact her and she was VERY prompt in her responsiveness. Great Location & Wonderful Views

We enjoyed sitting on the screened porch both morning and evening and enjoying the views of the lake. The house was very clean and comfortable for 7 adults. We made good use of the extra fans to circulate the air from the portable ac units to try to keep sleeping comfortable during the heatwave. We also enjoyed sitting along the water, the beach chairs were a great addition.

Beautiful lake view farmhouse retreat

Well-appointed and immaculate home with views from everywhere centrally located on Lake Cayuga. Enjoyed preparing meals in well-equipped kitchen and savouring morning coffee and afternoon cocktails on sun porch. Had the privilege of bringing our two Portuguese water dogs who settled in quickly and enjoyed the home as much as us!!!! The owner Joyce checked in by text immediately on our arrival to ensure everything perfect. Would definitely return.

The house is very comfortable and plenty of beds for a crowd. Unfortunately the two bathrooms are on the first floor. So second floor guests have to go downstairs if needed during the night. Being an older house the stairs are a bit creaky. So you go slowly as not to wake anyone. The kitchen is well equipped and spacious.

Annual Ladies Wine Weekend

The location of this house is perfect for our annual wine tasting weekend. So many wineries within a half hour. The sunrises on the lake were amazing! The kitchen was fully equipped and had everything we needed. It was very clean, plenty of towels, easy check-in and out. First time visiting the Finger Lakes region. Made the trip for a family wedding and both the house and the area were delightful. Wonderful weekend stay
