Best Hosts/Beautiful Setting

Pat and Patrick were just the best hosts vacationers could ask for. They were attentive to every detail and went out of their way to add to the enjoyment of our vacation. The view of the lake from every area of the property was just stunning. We will be returning for sure.

Girls Trip

We had the best stay ever. This property was clean and spacious and exactly as shown in the listing. Patrick was quick to respond to any questions. The location is quiet, but still close enough to wineries. The dock was so peaceful and we all can't wait to go back.

Amzing property. Power in the area went out, but our prepared hosts had a backup generator up and running with no hiccups. Great job!

This house was a gem! We stayed 3 nights for a girls trip celebrating a birthday. The property offers so much that we could have used a few more days to enjoy more of the lake and the trails. All of us were into birding and we identified 48 species just between the porch and the dock. The house was very welcoming and cleaner than any place I have ever stayed. Their attention to detail is evident in the decor indoor and outdoor. Pat and Patrick were very welcoming from greeting us with their dogs, who were very well mannered, to the fresh baked cookies in the kitchen. They offered to take us through the trails, but our schedule ran out of time. But we made sure to take full advantage of the beautiful dock and kayaks. Since the property is on the east side of the lake, we had night after night of the most gorgeous sunsets over the lake. All of us agree, this is definitely a property we plan to return to.

Beautiful retreat

The house sits on a rolling hill above the lake so sitting on the wrap around porch gives you a beautiful view without the bugs you get being right on the water. The house is beautifully renovated and decorated with all the essentials PLUS complimentary extras. The beds and linens are comfy and cozy. The grounds offer extensive walking trails. We were able to dock our boat at the marina a 10 minute walk from the house.

Perfect house in great location

This meticulously renovated house is absolutely charming. The hosts are wonderful, going above and beyond to ensure that we were comfortable. From guiding us to the property in the dark to welcoming us with delicious cookies, every detail was thoughtful and made our stay exceptional. Their warmth and accessibility made us feel welcome and at home. This house is in a prime location and ideal for groups wanting to explore the whole Finger Lakes region. The property has scenic trails and natural beauty to explore, along with a dock and lake access. We would love to return.

Seneca Lake Vacation 9/7-9/14

This was our first trip to the Seneca Lake area. We had stayed at a VRBO home at Lake Champlain for the last three years and we told Patrick and Pat their farmhouse and property totally won us over! Their renovated farmhouse was amazing with ample space for our family of six adults. It was modern with the farmhouse vibe and had all we needed. Also, we enjoyed the tour and history they gave my husband and I of their over 100 acre property. The pontoon boat ride was also a plus! We couldn't have asked for more gracious hosts and do plan on returning to the farmhouse next September!!

We Had A Wonderful Time

Pat and Patrick have a beautiful well kept property with long stretches of grass and plenty of various flowers. They also have more than 100 acres in the back that you can explore if you don’t mind hiking. The water front is pictured perfect with a very nice dock. The restored farmhouse is gorgeous inside and out with a covered porch that wraps around the whole house. The inside is very large, clean and modern - couldn’t have asked for anything better. One of the best parts of our stay was meeting both Pat and Patrick who are both wonderful caring people. They made us feel like we had known them for years. We will definitely be back next year.

Fabulous girls getaway

Pat and Patrick, What a magical girls get-away weekend you helped us to experience! Every inch of your home is spectacular and is apparent was created with love. We got together to travel the wineries, and each day looked forward to coming back to this beautiful retreat, surrounded by the beauty of nature. We came for a weekend but sure wish we could have extended this longer. We loved sitting on the porch with the stunning lake view. Each room is filled with treasures that we enjoyed. Your hospitality was unsurpassed, and it brought us comfort to know you were right around the corner if we needed help. The cookies were a very nice touch and were enjoyed all weekend. Thank you for welcoming us so warmly and for helping us create some new memories with great friends.

Better than photos/description. Kind and gracious hosts. Beautiful house in an ideal setting on lake, with a large private park-like property with mowed trails in back of the house, ideal for long hikes. (Pat gave us a nice tour of the property which made it familiar/comfortable to use.) Very, very clean; kitchen well stocked with pans/etc. (with cookies provided as a welcome gift!); comfortable beds; and pleasant laid-back atmosphere. Reasonable distance from nearby cities and a great base for wine trail. If you do much cooking, you may want to stop at a grocery store in a nearby city as the local grocery store was closed (as of 10/25...obviously subject to change). (Note: Wegmans in Ithaca was very nice.)We would stay here again in a heartbeat. We were four adults but I thought multiple times that our kids/grandkids would really enjoy the property too. One of our favorites in many years of renting nice properties!

Finger Lakes Fabulousness!

We stayed with friends for a weekend of winetasting and hiking. What a great weekend! Pat and Patrick's historic home (calling all Greek Revival lovers!) is an ideal location in a beautiful setting - on a sloping hill right on Lake Seneca. The house is super well-equipped and huge! The kitchen is large and there are a number of great places to hang out (almost all with a view of the lake!). (Oh, and the beds are really comfortable so we all slept well). Communications with the hosts were flawless and we were greeted with freshly baked cookies! We started each day with hikes and then checked out the local food and drink: did tastings at Forge and Lamereaux Landing, lunch at Moosewood in Ithaca (about a 35 minute drive) and found more great foody gems at the Stone Cat and Johnny's. Would highly recommend it!!

10 stars!Beautiful property! We all had a wonderful week there July 20 -27, 2025.Pat and Patrick greeted us warmly on check-in and left freshly baked cookies for us. They are wonderful hosts, attentive without inserting themselves. They offered tours of the considerable trails on the property and recommended one of the best wineries in the area. Awesome people! We were 3 retirement age siblings coming from 3 states with spouses and family. The fishermen in our group enjoyed the expansive dock. The wildlife lover enjoyed watching the eagles, the deer, groundhogs and many other animals. The runner enjoyed the extensive trails and lakeside road. The readers enjoyed the peaceful time spent in rocking chairs on the porch as well as the dock. The cook enjoyed the well equipped kitchen. We have stayed in Finger Lakes for vacation many times, but this is our very favorite. We are already planning our next trip.Thank you Pat and Patrick. You are incredible hosts and wonderful people who we truly enjoyed.
