'Lovely house, great surroundings, nicely equipped.'

'We loved our stay at Ridge Edge Cottage! The neighbors (and their dog) were wonderful and it was so fun to live among the locals for a few nights. You have everything you need here including a washing machine (no dryer). The dishes were not all clean in the cabinet but that was an easy fix with the dish soap provided. It is quite far from Portree (45-60 minutes) but well worth the drive. '

'We had a great time in the Decca- the former radio navigation station in the very northwest of the Isle of Lewis. It is just some steps of the Butt of Lewis, where there is an amazing landscape with a lot of beautiful sheep.'

'Traditional island cottage with everything you need for a home to home stay. Very clean and well presented, comfy beds too, always a bonus. Situated at the north end of Lewis it’s quite remote but amazingly peaceful. Limited places to eat out and you need to book well ahead but the local restaurant does takeaway in the evenings and it’s two minutes away in a beautiful setting above the harbour and beach.
