Best of the best. I traveling alote - thats why i have many strees if hotel not good, if it's smells or pilow not good.. But this hotel right now number 1 in my list. Beautiful panorama to see side. I have 0 complaints, the staff were excellent and extremely accommodating, restaurants were excellent, and it is is a great location, easy to walk to various shops and local transportation. I would recommend this location to anyone and I will most likely stay here again when I return to Istanbul.

Staff at the JW made our stay so pleasant. Housekeeping lady Senel was awesome. Only recommendation would be to include better americano coffee and offer maybe a pot of it for room service. A small cup of americano isn’t enough for some American travelers. Overall, excellent stay!!

Definitely a nice property. Staff in general are cordial and helpful. The hotel is near a highway and the sound of traffic is annoying. Also main attractions are much farther than what is mentioned on the website. The star rating system in general is questionable in Turkey. Overall Turkish people are very hospitable.

Nice new hotels disappointing service
I made two reservations with panoramic sea view rooms as I was with my wife and my 13 years old son , I have send the management email before that we wanted connected rooms , unfortunately that was not available when I checked in , they asked for 1500 euro in order to upgrade, I had to accept the available rooms but I stayed all night worried about my son the first night the second two nights we had to stay in the same room although I paid for two Check in and check out were very slow , cost of breakfast was extremely high and average quality Rooms are really beautiful but I didn’t find peace in there

Hotel contacted us in advance to ask when we would come. We telephoned and asked whether 2pm would be ok (knowing check in was at 3pm). They said "no problem" and offered to send a car. We declined the car and said we'd take a taxi (we were transferring from another hotel and didn't want the pressure of knowing they would turn up at a specific time). On arrival at 2pm told room wasn't ready and left sitting in lobby waiting ... for 1 1/2 hours. No drinks offered or acknowledgement that we were waiting. Eventually reapproached front desk and complained at 3:30. Complaint was handled very professionally. Hotel did make good by sending written apology and fruit basket plus access to executive lounge, so credit for that. Bottom line is we lost an afternoon when we could have been out and about. If they'd told us upfront not to turn up before 3pm, we would have organised things differently. Other than this no other complaints. Hotel is a bit isolated but very nice if all you want to do is chill after a number of days in Istanbul. Room and balcony were very nice.

Le personnel est disponible et à l’écoute, le petit déjeuner est Top, les restaurants Top, la piscine extérieure Top, je n’ai que des compliments à faire, vous pouvez y venir les yeux fermés. The property in general is OK. Nothing too spectacular if you have been around other JW Marriotts around the world. It does not have options for dining or nightlife, very quiet atmosphere. They have a nice location but are not utilizing it properly. Staff is generally friendly if you can communicate with them in English. Breakfast buffet for the price, quality and variety is not worth it. Other 5 star properties in Turkey, offer much better experience. There is no outside pool and the spa area is also pretty dead. Overall, it is satisfactory. They need to really jazz up the place and also make sure they hire staff that speaks English.

Having family nearby, we have had the opportunity to stay at this hotel many times since it opened last year. Front desk sets the tone right from the get go, no matter how early you arrive. They are always willing to help. We appreciated Omer Bey’s help in finding a good room for us, which is not an easy task as we happen to be very particular. We start off our days with an amazing Turkish breakfast, including cooked-to-order gozleme. Everything you eat is as fresh as it gets. Great service by all team members, specifically Filiz Hanim, chefs Yigithan Bey, Harun Bey and Merve Hanim. We appreciate how they take feedback seriously and adjust to our needs. You won’t have to repeat your likes/dislikes everyday; they will get to know you and serve you accordingly with big smiles on their faces. Highly recommend booking an executive room to use the lounge where they serve delicious snacks throughout the day and and hot/cold dishes at night. Gym has top of the line equipment and great trainers, Ozge Hanim, Muhammet Bey and Emre Bey. Ozge Hanim and Ela Hanim at the spa are so sweet and helpful booking sessions. Previous years we tried staying at Sheraton, Hyatt, Polat, Radisson nearby but this JW Marriott blows all of them out of the water. We feel lucky to have such an amazing hotel with great staff near our family and look forward to many wonderful stays here.
