De ligging van het hotel was perfect en het personeel erg vriendelijk. Ze proberen allemaal je verblijf zo goed mogelijk te maken. Ontbijt was goed. Als je iets anders wilde, stond Mehmet voor je klaar om het voor je te regelen. Het hotel heeft ook een zwembad, bubbelbad, Sauna en hamam waar je gebruik van kan maken. De kinderen vonden het zwembad geweldig. Alle bezienswaardigheden op loopafstand. Ook de mogelijkheid om de tram te pakken. Tram ook in de buurt. Kortom een geweldig verblijf hier gehad. Ik zou dit hotel iedereen aanraden.

One word....FANTASTIC!!! great staff, very helpful......very friendly......helped us with anything we ask rightaway. Fantastic breakfast......and surprise.....great free lunch buffet very tastful. Pool, sauna and turkish steambad we used several times was excellent. The massage my girlfriend had was very al highlights of the city.....couldn't be better.

Perfect hotel
Alles is perfect bij dit hotel, de vriendelijkheid van het personeel, locatie, het ontbijt, het zwembad met sauna en hamam en vooral de hygiëne. De kamer (family connected room) was zeer ruim. Genoten van ons verblijf. Zou dit hotel bij een volgend bezoek aan Istanboel zeker weer boeken.

Wat een hotel! Een zeer goede staff en lekker ontbijt en mese ( lunch ). Zwembad is een goede grote, Turkse sauna en een normale sauna. Kamers zijn perfect en zeer comfortabele bedden. Dubbele ramen zorgen voor minimale geluidsoverlast. Al met al perfect hotel

Staff was very courteous and went above and beyond to make sure our stay went great. We had an early flight from Istanbul and they made sure we had something to eat and drink while on our way. So they packed us sandwiches and drinks to tie us over. The staff was very welcoming, helpful and sweet. I would highly recommend this property.

Beautiful small hotel right in the middle of all the main sights. The dtaff were really friendly and helpful, especially the breakfast team. Our room, a standard double, was large with a door that opened to a juliette balcony which was lovely to sit and listen to the city. A small seating area was perfect. The pool area although small was a nice relief after a busy day and the Turkish Bath was gorgeous! The roof top was stunning and the restaurant was very good - we ate there twice, although the wine was expensive. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Large, clean, comfortable room. Exceptionally helpful, thoughtful, and attentive staff. Great breakfast. The sauna, swimming pool, and hammam facilities were excellent and an added bonus. The location is excellent with easy walking access to the major sites in Istanbul, as well as the tram and ferries. We didn’t want to leave and were sad when our vacation came to an end.

This was a fantastic hotel choice for our first time in Istanbul. It is incredibly convenient to get everywhere. You can walk to many different parts of town, but there is also public transportation within minutes. Great restaurants nearby, a lovely breakfast buffet, coffee and tea in your room or anytime of day brought to you fresh. Refrigerators stocked with complimentary drinks and snacks refreshed daily. Beautiful rooms, comfortable beds, abundant hot water. But the best part is the staff. They are just amazing and wonderful. They cannot do enough for you and will help you with every aspect of your stay. I travel quite a bit but this place blew me away. I’d stay here again without question.

Staff were ecxellent. Breakfast was fantastic, as was the roof top restaurant, which is highly recommended for the food, the view and to get away from the crowds and noise. Tram is 1 block away. Two tram stops or an easy walk to major attractions: Hagia Sogia, Cistern, blue mosque, palace, cruise or to cross the bridge. Rooms overlooking the street are a bit noisy but hotel provides ear buds to sleep. The AC and/or ventilation also help to dampen the noise. It's a big noisy city. You would be hard pressed to find a hotel away from any noise: car horns, traffic and call to prayer are a constant wherever you go. I highly recommend it.

Das Hotel hat sehr nettes und freundliches Personal, die Zimmer sind großzügig und sehr sauber. Tolle leckere Frühstücksauswahl, sehr viel Auswahlmöglichkeiten. Für Familien bestens geeignet. Der Standort ist perfekt, alles Sehenswürdigkeiten sind in 15 min zu Fuß erreichbar. Würden wir immer wieder buchen.

Brilliant hotel in the heart of the old city
Excellent hotel. We got a room with a balcony so we could have some outside space. The bed was super comfortable, the living area was great and the bathroom was very well done with a whirlpool bath and very large separate shower. The staff were very accommodating and couldn't do enough to help. Breakfast was great and we made use of the 11am end time. There was a fridge and kettle in the room so we got to make tea. We particularly enjoyed the daily towel designs and the pot of Turkish delight left by the maid. Istanbul is a very noisy city with the trams, car horns and call to prayer all being extremely loud. The Neorion is right in the thick of it so we took earplugs with us for sleeping. The hotel also provided earplugs. If you don't like the noise you are best to go somewhere else, probably not Istanbul! Bad points about the room: There was nowhere in the large bathroom to put things, not even a towel rail near the shower. The double glazing in one window was cloudy so that spoiled the view. None of the mirrors were in the right place for shaving or doing makeup. A full length mirror would have been useful too.

The Neorion hotel is a fabulous 5 star hotel located in a prime district within istanbul. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Dedash and Mehmet who retrieved our luggage from the sidewalk. We were then escorted to the lobby for hot tea and Cappuccino while we waited for a personal check-in to our Double Deluxe Suite with a bslcony. From the staff at check-in to the servers at breakfast, it is clear that the staff take great pride in providing top-notch service for their guests. A special thanks to Dedash who was extremely helpful in developing an itinerary of activities to explore historic sites around Istanbul for three straight days and numerous options for dining. Also, a big thanks to Mehmet and Hatice who were responsible for serving the best free hotel breakfast in Istanbul. Without question, my next visit to Istanbul will include a stay at the Neorion.

Everything is so perfect from the day we arrived until we left. The reception guy was so helpful with our luggages which got delayed and i felt sick, he did needful for us. Also, the Bkfast was very good and location close to eveything. We did not need taxi as we were 10 mins away to all touristes attractions. Will definitely book there next time.

great location in the heart of Istanbul old city. Charming accomodations. The breakfast buffet was generous and varied. The outstanding feature of this hotel is the people who work here. Always ready to help with directions, reservations and luggage. Organized a taxi for me to my next hotel. Lined up a guide for my first day and she turned out to be fantastic. I would stay again in a minute and highly recommend the hotel for a stay in Istanbul.

What a great home base for hectic Istanbul! The staff is very kind and welcoming, nice breakfast buffet, the room was very clean, comfortable bed, and it was great to have a swimming pool, sauna and hammam room available. (Note that the hot tub did not have actual hot water in it on my visit, not sure why since it was fall weather.) They even leave you some Turkish delight and goodies in your room. The location is great - all the big sites are walkable, but it's also right by the main tourist tram line so you can save your steps for climbing the hills. Lots of restaurants and stuff right around the hotel, for when you just want to grab something local. Would definitely stay here again.
