I stayed at The Marmara Pera 4 nights with my partner. The main reason we chose this hotel was that it has an outdoor pool. However, the pool is an odd triangle shape and is so small, it is impossible for an adult to swim in it. This was a big let down. The hotel in general needs serious renovation as the decor and furniture are quite outdated. We stayed at a city view room for 2 people. The bed was too wide (2 meters, I think) which occupied a large area in our not so big room. Our room did not have enough power outlets to charge our devices. There were no power outlets by the bed.The bathroom door was a swinging door which did not provide proper privacy.The bath tub was high and small.The shower head was positioned as high as the ceiling allows however it was not high enough for someone taller than 175cm. The room curtains did not close properly and we noticed that too late the 1st night. When reported the next day, they took immediate action however the curtains were still tad bit smal for the windows and did not completely block the light. We like our sleeping room dark so we woke up with the first lights of the day. In the night, we were kept awake by the music outside as the hotel is situated at a lively area.The room service was good.Our room was clean at our arrival and was cleaned to perfection during our stay. Hotel is situated close to a metro station (step down at Şişhane,take the exit Beyoğlu Bld.) There are nice cafes, restaurants a small supermarket close by.

Goede ligging hotel en prachtig uitzicht vanuit de kamer. Daarnaast heeft het hotel een rooftop bar en een culinair restaurant. Omdat er veel uitgaansplekken in de buurt zijn kun je wat muziekoverlast ervaren. Het personeel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

This is the worst property I’ve ever stayed at. I usually never rate properties, but this is an exception. The staff is super unfriendly. They misbehaved with me and my family and threw us out of the room with our bags in the room during checkout. They don’t care if you’re a guest or tourist. The food was also terrible. Book any other hotel other than this.

The propery was ok. I was set on the 14th floor 2 spearate room. The rooms were the same but did not get the same service. I called for the wifi information 5 times and never received it had to use roaming. Called again the second day nothing they kept saying "IT" would fix it. They say coffee and water is free... not sure what they charded off mini bar. The taxis are outside but if you try to use uber you have to be very pateint because they want you to pay 3x the fare. The hotel taxi to airport was about $50-60. Uber was only $28. I asked the front desk for information they kept leading me to the business they had connection and bashing other places. I asked to go check out the restorant upstairs before making a reservation the front desk told me ok, when i went upstairs I was not allowed to enter and check the place out not even look at the setup. We went to Eleos The main street is near. The food and the shoping center are very near.

All notes regarding the issue have been taken and forwarded to the relevant departments. 2 plastic bottles of water, coffee and tea in our rooms are free of charge. When we check your expenses, your minibar usage appears and minibar products are charged extra. The restaurants directed by the reception are not contracted, they are tried and quality controlled places. These places are recommended first because you can be sure of the service offered. L’hôtel est très bien situé à 6/7mn à pied de la station de métro Sishane qui est sur la ligne de Taksim, osmanbey (pour du shopping) ou encore Galata Tower est accessible en une vingtaine de minutes à pied depuis l’hôtel un peu plus loin vous aurez Karakoy (plein de restaurants). Sécurité à l’entrée de l’hôtel, petit déjeuner bon, personnel de ménage très sympathique . Très gros bémol pour l’accueil que ce soit à la réception ou au petit déjeuner on ne nous dis pas bonjour voir on ne répond pas quand vous dites bonjour . Mais l’hôtel en lui même est très bien.

This was my second time staying here and, as per usual, it was a great experience. My only caveat, as last time, is with the incredibly loud music emanating from the nearby rooftop bars and restaurants. You can't get any sleep until 1am-ish, when they stop the music. Other than that, it's all great and incredibly well located.

The hotel's location is excellent, right in the center of everything. The staff is really nice and very friendly. My only concern is the bathroom, which is outdated. They have a huge, slippery bathtub that is not easy to get in and out of, especially with my hip problem. The breakfast is ordinary, with nothing special about it. There are no significant changes in the items served, and sometimes it is cold. Additionally, the bakery goods are not fresh.

I have stayed in Istanbul many times over my years for pleasure and work but I have never experienced finding cockroaches, especially in what is suppose to be a 4 star hotel. I finally chose Mamara Pera due to its convenient location and the price was fair which included breakfast. The staff are luke warm but everything did go smoothly at check in. We checked into the 10th floor. The rooms are looking tired and decor needs attention. My biggest complaint is coming back to our room to find a half dead coachroach on its back on the floor. I called management and they offered to change our room. In the frantic move and packing, another large, very lively cockroach jumped out and onto our bed. At this point I couldn’t contain my disgust. I spoke to management and they only apologised and left me feeling very disappointed. I would not recommend this place, FULLSTOP! There are many other options that would be a better choice. STAY CLEAR IF YOU DONT WANT TO COME FACE TO FACE WITH GIANT COCKROACHES!

The staff at the lobby are horrible. They look down on you if you arent nicely dressed. They were having attitude toward us starting from check-in til checkout. The rooftop restaurante, the guy by the door, was very rude and discriminating. We walked up to him to see if we can dine there for dinner (we just barely came back from sightseeing in jeans and sneakers). He said reservations only. We asked when can we dine if we make a reservation now. He dogged at us and said, it is a fixed menu restaurante (meaning it is expensive). We are from San Francisco. Everything are expensive. He "tossed" the menu to my friend ( it was only $110 per person). I said to my friend, lets just go in and eat. The guy said, you cant eat here. There is a dress code. I told him we want to make a reservation. I was pissed already because he thought we are low life and cant afford it. My friend told him that we arenstaying at this hotel at executive floor suites. He said it doesnt matter. We knew he didnt want us in regardless even if we dressed up. Shortly after, the manager walked out with a couple who wore jeans!!! If this isnt discrimination, what is?!

The gate keepers have obvious condescending attitude toward chinese asian. The roof top rest host had the worst tone and unprofessional verbal expressions. Even a few friendly staff, like Kardiv, are helpful and welcoming, but the experiences received from the gate keepesr and roof top host make me never like to stay there again

Weather it is suit or not minibar worker doesn’t fill daily, you should inform the reception for filling again and again. Amenities very very low even no leg towels and shower water going upto bedroom. Staffs are helpful but hotel management very very poor.
