'By far one of the coolest places to stay for anyone who loves old mansions and history! Hosts were super accommodating with clear instructions! Absolutely loved the period decor to match the theme. Felt like we stepped back in time for a brief moment and definitely left fun, lasting memories! Easy parking. There are stairs involved to access upper levels. Anyone with skeletal issues - arthritis might want to stick with lower levels. Otherwise, absolutely wonderful! Thank you '

'Shanara’s den is exactly a described.It is a warm, cozy and spacious area that is nicely decorated. All the comforts of home. Great neighborhood for walking. Shanara is very friendly and quick to respond. I will definitely be back and would recommend this to Anyone looking to stay in this area.'

'We loved our visit in this Belhaven Aapartment! The owners had paid very close attention to every single detail. We immediately felt “at home”! It was a rainy weekend…but we stayed in our little “haven” and watched movies! We can’t wait to come back and rent “Laurel”…one of the other apartments in the same building! And…next time, hopefully we will be able to enjoy the gorgeous courtyard with a charming bridge crossing over a koi pond! There is plenty of seating space to enjoy visiting...

'We spent three weeks here during the summer. The property is exactly as listed. It is all new with a comfortable bed, nice towels and linens, and the parking lot and complex is gated. In-unit laundry is super handy. There's a pool and they are adding a jacuzzi. The location is convenient to everything downtown. The owner is very nice and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay.'

'My wife and I had a hard time finding the property, I attempted to call the property owner through the phone number provided by VRBO and no one answered and the voicemail box was full. There were no clear markings identifying the property number, and the driveway was small and hard to locate (the last part is not the fault of the property owner, but explains our difficulty locating the property). There also was no carbon monoxide detector present in the home despite having a gas stove and gas...

'John was very prompt in replies and accommodating with a couple special requests. We were very pleased with our stay. This property was located conveniently located to the Children's Museum and two of our favorites resturants - Broad St Bakery and Alpos Mediteranian.'

'Great little home perfect for what we needed. Unfortunately in a tough neighborhood but well secured with an alarm. Streets around area are in very poor condition-blew two tires hitting a crater but obviously not the owners fault. Overall good stay'

'We were supposed to stay here on our way back home to Texas. Last minute, we decided to just drive all the way back from Florida to have a day of rest before school/work. We have stayed in the Fondren area several times on the way to Rosemary Beach and have always enjoyed our stays. We would definitely choose to stay at this home again! The owner was super nice and helpful. Plus it’s in a great area. Love to eat at the Pig and Pint! Fun area to be in!'
