'We enjoyed a quiet, comfortable retreat. Morning coffee on the front porch rockers. The furnishings include interesting vintage farmhouse pieces. The kitchen worked well for us. We enjoyed game nights at the kitchen table. The caretakers are on the same street and the owner is very responsive.'

The house is just as pictured in the photos, and I think the surrounding property/grounds is even better within the photos. If you're flying into Knoxville airport, it's in a perfect location, about 23 minutes from the airport, and just a few minutes from the Smokies (maybe 15 mins). The host, Amy, is super friendly and gracious.'

'The Yellow Farmhouse was a perfect place for all of our family to gather to help celebrate our daughter's graduation from UTK. It was clean, spacious enough and has the best porches to relax on. We were about 15 minutes to campus and east of UTK. The house is very clean and has a full stocked kitchen. Bonus, they had chickens and fresh eggs! Michelle is a great host and responds quickly and very helpful. We would rent again! 5 stars all around!'

'The pictures really don't do this house justice. The master bedroom / bathroom were HUGE! As well as the rest of the house. There was plenty of room for everyone. We loved it. The location was quiet and it was refreshing to see the neighborhood kids outside playing and selling lemonade. You are outside town to have the country feel but close enough for quick travel to the stores. We would definitely stay again.'

'Love the whole entire concept! My grandson who loves trains was in HEAVEN! All the little details in the train and outside were absolutely perfect!!! If there was a negative it would be that the back area isn’t completely fenced in. When you have small kids close to that busy road it’s dangerous BUT the train, the cleanliness, accessibility and easy check in/out was on point!!! WAY TO GO!!!'
