'Right on the beach! Our room had a view of the ocean, too. It wasn't too busy when we were there so they upgraded us to a deluxe room! Very nice people work here! 'WOW just wow!!!! We loved our stay at this small boutique hotel. Beautiful and wonderful staff. We traveled with our 1.5 year son and it was perfect. We will recommend it to all who are looking for a slice of paradise. Good food, amazing ice cream and smoothies nice decorated and clean rooms/bungalows, stunning pool area, helpfull staff my husband went on a fishing trip planned by staff. 'Nice if you like solitude and being in nature, and don't mind "rustic". Big open air villas surrounded by trees (even a few baobabs), which are frequent by monkeys (including red colobus). Not so nice if you are used to excellence and attention to detail in everything. Resort is in need of TLC at a minimum or renovation at a maximum to make it worth the price. All of the cushions are either worn out or torn with the cotton pocking out or zippers not closing... I would not recommend booking any...

'Is a basic beachhut set up. Basic huts set a few mins walk back from beach. Cheap and good option. Rooms are basic and functional but low end as to be expected at this price. Lively bar, more of a independent traveller vibe than many Zanzibar resorts. Food in restaurant was quite fine.'

'Prima hotel, lekker ontbijt inclusief geserveerd met fruit. Na een week heb je het er wel mee gehad (steeds pannenkoeken etc..). Locatie van het hotel is aan de noord-oost kant. Hier gaat maar 1 weg heen en met de auto is dit bijna een uur rijden naar Stonetown. Geen idee hoe lang met een dala dala, maar ik zou het niet eens willen proberen. Overdag is er van 's ochtends tot 's avonds GEEN zee ivm eb! Let hier dus op. Paar minuutjes verderop kan je wel al normaal zwemmen (blue lagoon). Verder...

'Tuna Lodge in realtà è inaccessibile. Al mio arrivo il "manager" mi spiega che c'è un'altra lodge della stessa proprietà poco distante, "Caveman Lodge" e quindi mi sistemerà lì. Il mio soggiorno non è stato male, Caveman Lodge è molto caratteristica, tetto e porta di paglia, io ero al piano rialzato e per accedervi una scaletta di legno (per portare il bagaglio mi hanno aiutata!) avevo un bel terrazzino con divanetto e tavolino....non go avuto problemi ma sarebbe giusto un aggiornamento!!!!'

'Sweet and sour: the upper rooms are finished construction. However, the lower rooms are not but they are still being rented. There's bare concrete, 1 lightbulb for the whole room, no privacy door to the ensuit bathroom... Almost finished...but not yet. That said, it's a clean budget accommodation with an excellent (in context) breakfast and fantastic staff. I can't help but have mixed reviews.'

Nous avons réservé la maison avec piscine super bien le paradis ,propre même si les salle de bain auraient besoin d'un petit rafraichissement, le frigo et les bouteilles fraiches sont très agréable ,très peu de coupures d'eau et d'électricité. "My mother and I enjoyed a delightful three-day stay at this hotel. The staff was exceptionally friendly and cooperative, always ready to assist. When a water pipe broke, they promptly provided an alternative, offering a can of water for showering. The diverse and delicious menu changed daily for dinner, and the breakfast was equally tasty, served by friendly staff. The quiet ambiance and breathtaking view make it a highly recommended retreat. Our garden villa, complete with a personal plunge pool, was spacious, immaculate, and included a daily supply of fresh water bottles. The rooms were consistently clean, and the staff throughout the hotel were welcoming and accommodating."
