'This location was very quiet, close to Calumet and area hot spots. Comfy beds, more than enough room for two people, nice size bathroom. Easy to control temps and plenty of hot water once it got to the taps. Lots of games and plenty of kitchen gear for cooking.'

'I attended 1st and 2nd grade in this building. It was a throwback to see the old tile floors. It’s a very nice condo. Very clean. Lots of room. Beds are comfortable. Location is good. Overall, it’s a highly recommended place to stay. My standards for a 5⭐️ rating are high, and the difference between 4⭐️ and 5⭐️ is nit-picking little details in comfort and convenience. Nevertheless, this is a place I will definitely want to book again.'

'This was our 2nd time staying here. Clean, roomy. Love the 3 bedrooms and 3 full baths. Walking distance to many great places in Hancock for dinner, drinks, breakfast and bakery items as well as shops. This was convenient for moving our son out of MTU. Also a very comfortable place for my husband and I to work remotely. We brought our dog and walked just down the road to Porvoo Park most mornings. Trails nearby that span for miles. 'Perfect place for a weekend college visit to MTU and to explore the Keweenaw Pennisula. Great location right downtown Houghton.'

'The apartment was very cute and stylish. A great repurpose of an industrial building. We enjoyed being in downtown Houghton and being able to walk to restaurants, stores and bars. Our car was able to be parked in a parking lot across the street from the apartment so it was easy to get out of town to explore the Keweenaw. We will definitely stay here again when we visit Houghton.'

'Didn’t seem like a bad area but all of the business buildings are not businesses anymore. The property is in an old building, which is unique and the idea is great. The problem is that the unit smells very strongly of old building. I felt like it was not clean because of the smell. Cool idea but I would not stay again'

'The outside of the building doesn’t represent how the place is on the inside. It’s a nice clean and well taken care of apartment that was comfy to stay in. Relatively quiet just noisy cars driving by at night. Very nice place to stay and a not very far from Houghton so it’s definitely a place I’d revisit.'

'Great location. The only things to consider are the stairs and the slight fish smell in the hallway, which has been mentioned in the other reviews. The smell does not seem to be noticeable in the apartment itself.'

'Stayed one night to ride snowmobile up the keweenaw. Fantastic location, literally ON the trail. Great bars down the block. Hosts were very communicative and friendly. Clean place with tons of space to hang out. Nice use of an old building with cool history. Will be back!'

'This rental apartment was perfect. My college friend and I came up for our first snowmobile trip of the year This place is literally right on the atv/snowmobile trail. Had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The property owner, Vernon, responded within minutes to all questions. And to make things even better the the South Range Pub (popular snowmobile hangout) and the 1902 Tap and Grill are basically across the street. 'The property is very clean and well stocked with anything needed. The location was convenient for visiting my daughter at MTU and for accessing the beauty of Copper country. It was a short drive to Canyon Falls, MTU, and Hancock. We truly enjoyed our stay. My only suggestion would be to add a curtain to the back door, and that is so minor. I most definitely recommend this property to folks visiting the area.'
