'Was like a delightful step back in time. Peaceful! Loved the countryside. Local cows became friends. Learned about using turf in stove. We loved it! Very easy to start! Stephanie was wonderful and made some reservations for us as well as providing turf for our first night when stores were closed. Lovely village!'

'When we were planning our trip to Ireland, we knew we wanted to experience a bit of everything; which of course included a thatched roof cottage on a farm, and The New Thatched Cottage was absolutely perfect. 'A quirky and eclectic house, not the for tall of stature. It's a traditional style of Irish country cottage set in a gorgeous Limerick valley. If you like country living and a break from the mundane, this is a good choice. Watch out for the oil heating bill at the end though.'

We enjoyed our daily drives through the countryside and having a relaxing place to stay when we returned each evening. 'We are completely dissatisfied with VRBO. The property they rented us in Limerick, Ireland was occupied! People had been living in it for two months. We were left stranded with absolutely NO support by VRBO. We had to go to a hotel and spend a lot of money until we found a property with another company. This really ruined our vacation in Ireland! Now we just hope we can get our money back!'
