The frig was missed and it was noticeable that something had spilled inside the frig. The house is as listed. The linens where clean and ample towels where provided. We would stay here again.'

'This was a nice rental for our family trip to Detroit. It had all the things we needed-full kitchen with dishes, laundry, bathrooms as well as central air (we stayed in June 2023). It’s a historic house, so it has a different feel than a modern house, but it had all the amenities that were needed. The only thing that could be somewhat of an issue is the iron railings on the stairs for little ones or the elderly. A high chair or booster and or pack n play to use would have been a bonus, but we...

'Due the weather we did not use the hot tub or lake activities. The home is well maintained, clean and as advertised. The host was available to answer questions. Instructions tor arrival were clear. Two minor issues: The house number is not available from the street. It would be nice if the number is on the house by the street. There are four ceiling fan/light remotes. The batteries were dead or missing, so the controls wouldn't work. We replaced the batteries so we could control them.'

'The Roost is a VERY cool update on a classic Detroit property. The rooms have character with a capital C, and aren't your standard hotel space. From the moment you enter the lobby, you realize this is something quite different. Once there, you're in the heart of Detroit, with easy walking to tons of restaurants and the downtown, including Woodward, concert venues, and Comerica Park. Excellent. We'll be back. '

'I stayed here with my son during a family visit. We loved the kitchen space and the roomy bathroom. The bed was clean and cozy. A couple of grocery stores were nearby. Commercial park is just up the street. We would stay here again. '
