'The bed, despite the limited headroom, was very comfortable. The whole cabinet was quaint and quiet - perfect for us. I took a nap for the first time in YEARS. I also took a pic of the mattress and will looking at those when we shop for a new one.'

'Frank and Bao have created a great renting experience for their guests. We were surprised at how well stocked the house. Firewood, grilling supplies, even some bowtie of candy. We spent a lot of time on the deck overlooking the lake grilling and playing games. While we couldn't use the dock nearest the property, a very short walk around the block was the community dock where we did some fishing. The hosts communicated well before and during our stay giving us tips for any quirks we should be...

'Our visit exceeded all expectations. The hosts have given every consideration for their guests’ comfort and enjoyment, it seemed there was nothing they hadn’t thought of. The views overlooking the lake are spectacular and from windows and the huge deck we enjoyed beautiful sun sets and an array of bird life. I have never seen so many eagles. I loved how easy they made checking out - no long list of dos and donts. We had a fun and memorable time and guarantee anyone else would have a blast...

'The house is very beautiful and comfortable also well outfitted with dishes, pot and pans. We like to cook when we stay. The walk to and from the water is steep but the stairs and ramps are well maintained. Our adult children enjoyed the kayaks and fishing off the dock.'

'What started out as a camping trip turned in to me renting this air conditioning home for my family to spread out and enjoy time at the lake, with our own personal dock. My husband even set up a tent in the backyard for the boys next to the fire pit, which ended up being our evening hang out spot. The winding roads and trees made you feel secluded which was great despite having neighbors close by. My husband took the boys swimming on the dock which they loved. Bring life jackets for the kids....

'If you are looking for a remote getaway, this is the property for you. It's a beautiful, clean home with everything you need to prepare meals. The view of the river is lovely and we saw deer, rabbits, and even a bald eagle. However, be aware that the last 20 minutes of the drive is on gravel roads. The only disappointment was that there was no river access, so we had to leave the property each day and drive 30-40 minutes to a public access location. We had hoped to swim and fish at the property...

There was plenty of room to gather in one place or to find separate spaces for down time. When we weren't catching fish off the dock - at one point 5 of us had fish on at the same time! - we gathered in the game room to play pool and hang out. Owners were great to work with. Best property that we have stayed on at Grand Lake!'

'The lake house was as described. As mentioned, the driveway is steep, only our all-wheel drives could climb the hill. The dock was very nice and fishing was great. We caught perch, catfish, carp and drum all from the dock; white and largemouth bass in the cove.'

'The rooms was smaller than we had expected and there is no kitchen, just a fridge. There is a sink out in the bath house, and a gas grill outside. The lack of a kitchen was not great, but the area is great, the owners very nice and very helpful and I would go back. I would just prepare better for no kitchen.'
