One of our dogs and both humans loved playing with them. The place is understatedly well decorated and comfortable. 'Great location! We walked out to the beach and pier several times each day. Home is spacious and in good condition, online photos and descriptions are accurate. The home is a little noisy as the stairways are open - on the first floor we could hear folks talking on the third due to open stairways. Rooftop balcony is great for picnics and enjoying the view. Would definitely stay again - good value.'

'Excellent place to stay in Pismo Beach. House was clean and met our needs for our vacation. The best part was being able to bring our dog. In the past we’ve stayed at beach hotels on the CA coast and you can’t leave your dog in the room. With this place we were able to bring our dog along with us for all of our daytime excursions and we were able to enjoy a nice dinner at a restaurant in the evening leaving our well-behaved dog at the house. Great vacation!'

'It was nice that the apartment/condo/rooms were walking distance to beach, restaurants and shopping. Fun to have a beer/wine bar a short walk from our front door. Sitting on our balconies allowed us to enjoy the out of doors without leaving the premises. We had a great time.'

'This property is absolutely gorgeous, well maintained, with a well stocked kitchen. The home and views were SPECTACULAR -- way better than in the pictures. The only caveat I will list is that there is a 1 mile dirt road to the home which has some shrubs on the path, so you wouldn't want to bring a sports car that's low to the ground. We were able to drive over the shrubbery and access it with our normal sedans (Corolla, Honda Civic, etc).'

'Enjoyed the property except the 3rd bedroom was not a fit for our group. 80 year olds that need more privacy than walking through the adjoining bedroom. Also too difficult as the beds were against the wall so you would have to climb over each other. One of the couples opted to go get a hotel room.'

'We had a great stay here, only one night so we didn't get to explore Grover Beach much. We were SO pleased that the bed we slept on was great! We had a pleasant take-out dinner with our daughter in the dining room, and walked our dog around the neighborhood, and had coffee down the block. This place had everything we needed and nothing we didn't. We will call upon Melany and Jon again to stay here.'

'We stayed at this cottage for 2 weeks and enjoyed every minute! Susanne is super friendly and hospitable. The cottage is really comfortable and well-stocked for cooking. The beautifully landscaped private yard is perfect for relaxing and soaking in the sun. There's so many things nearby to hike and explore. So sad to leave, but can't wait to return!'

"Vriendelijke ontvangst, duidelijke uitleg over waar de faciliteiten zijn. Daarnaast een welkomstdrankje en soepje van het huis ontvangen. De kamer was niet schoongemaakt. De hele deur zat onder de koffiespetters en bij de kast zat een grote witte substantie. De douchekop was niet schoongemaakt en de shampoopomp zat los van de inhoud (die was niet vastgedraaid). Daarnaast hoor je veel geluid van buiten in de kamer."
