'Overall, we had a great stay. Everyone was very friendly, the food at the bar was amazing, being able to text the front desk with questions/for check out was so cool. We stayed in the Main Lodge during off season during the week so there wasn't really anything to do. most things were closed. I wasn't anticipating that. I wish it had been more clear on the website. 'Had booked wrong days by accident,/with Expedia. They were full on Regular rooms. But kind as they are the gave us a deal. and put us in a Cottage for $50.00 for the two nights. Way out of their way to get us a room for two nights, I was upgrade to a cottage, 3 bedrooms ,fireplace, and 2 levels. Way to generous, They said they were MN nice, and go out of their way to please.'

'Right off the main road so easy to find. Easy check in and friendly staff. It was a comfortable stay although heaters could use some updating. I wanted to warm up the room a bit so I turned on the heater. It made such a strong odor I had to turn it off and open a window. '

'Our family was in Cross Lake for a funeral this weekend. Several family members stayed at Manhattan Beach. It was perfect for us. The food was great and the staff were all awesome! This is a traditional family resort, so not super fancy but clean and beds very comfortable. It was quiet this weekend, so we kinda had the place to ourselves. Such a great location that I'm sure it is jumping in the summertime. Would definitely stay again.'

'CUTE, RUSTIC AND lodge like. The rooms are simple..but have everyting you need. Bed was comforable..pillows were a bit flat but they give you two so that's nice. Staff was great.. we needed to leave early due to weather and they refunded the last night. Coffee pot in room. You can cook waffles if you want for breakfast. Pool was being repaired but looks nice. Saw 4 deer run through the property one morning. Walking distance to town square..near some very good restaurants..try the Walleye...

'What a beautiful & peaceful little spot! The cozy cabin had everything that we would need & we stayed nice & warm! Tighter parking area with our truck & trailer, but made it just fine. All the comforts of home! The owners welcomed us when we got there. Would stay again!!'

'Weekend away wheeling around and enjoying the outdoors. Cabin was cute, clean and had everything we needed. Eric was very welcoming and shared great local information. Would definately recommend!!! We plan to stay again next winter to check out the area snowmobiling'
