zaken trip van 5 dagen
Een goed hotel voor een nacht, omdat je bv de volgende ochtend vroeg op de luchthaven moet zijn. Voor een langer verblijf raad ik dit hotel sterk af. De service is niet gericht op langdurig verblijf; late of zelfs geen opmaken van de kamer; bij de klacht dat het toilet niet werkte kwam na 2 uur iemand langs met een ontstopper....en ging weer weg; wij moesten zelf het toilet maar ontstoppen. Het bestellen van een omelette bij het ontbijt duurde een keer 53 minuten! Verder een extreme slechte bediening hier (veel lege schalen die pas na veelvuldig klagen opnieuw werden gevuld); duur voor een ontbijt ($23) gelet op de kwaliteit. We zijn uiteindelijk elke ochtend in een ander hotel gaan ontbijten. De fitness ruimte is achterhaald en sterk verouderd. sommige apparaten werkten niet of waren so ernstig aangetast door erosie dat je deze gewoon niet wilde proberen. Wij hadden ook een zaken lunch elke middag (onderdeel van het meeting packet) en dat was elke dag hetzelfde; kip, vis en rijst, met geen enkele variatie. Daarbij was de kwalitiet erg slecht (doorgebakken en droog). Als conclusie zeg ik dat een nacht hier goed te doen is; het hotel is schoon, ziet er modern uit en heeft prima kamers, maar voor een langer verblijf ......zoek dan een ander hotel op! En als laatste; de directe omgeving geeft niet veel mogelijkheden om te dineren; of een zeer duur steak restaurant of een paar goedkopere restaurants (die we allemaal hebben geprobeerd) en niet de moeite waard zijn.

We stayed the night before and after a cruise. We arrived early morning and was able to get early check in both weekends! This was a huge relief, especially coming off a red eye flight! All the staff was extremely welcoming and helpful! Thank you!

Due to weather conditions American airlines cancled the flight it had delayed for 5 hours and stranded my partner in Guadeloupe. When I called Marriot reservations to cancel, they told me to call the Front Desk. The Front desk told me only Expedia could cancel, and Expedia told me only the hotel could cancel. Not acceptable from either company.

Wow. What a bunch of lowlives! They gave my reserved room away! Can't remember that ever happening when a credit card was provided. They sent me to the Courtyard, a real downgrade. The room at the Courtyard was smelly, like they were covering up cigarette smoke. Aweful. The air conditioning unit fan rattles, too loud to keep on during the night. The place is a total dump.

As far as large airports Miami is good. Generally clean and most staff helpful. As in any large place there are dirty spots and very rude staff. But all & all with alll the business they do Miami works well.

The room was fair at best, water is lukewarm never got hot. They charge you for Wi-Fi, breakfast is a buffet. Bed was OK. It was clean and the staff was friendly for the price I expected more.

Great stay in Miami!
Checkin was smooth and front desk friendly. Restaurant food was above average even if service was a tad slow. Room was great, health club very nice and M Club pleasant. Overall a very good experience!

Perfect stay
I can't see enough about the excellence of this Marriott Hotel. From an early check in to the next morning shuttle, we had a true vacation. The fitness center was well equipped and spacious. Our room was perfect and had the best shower that I have ever experienced. Our dining options had multiple choices on property. Wow. We will return!!
