'I cannot stress enough the friendliness, and hospitality of this hotel's staff!! So helpful and friendly, just unbelievable. The food here is also excellent. We had Sunday brunch here and also a special Memorial Day meal. The patio area is gorgeous. They have speakeasy on the lower level which is fun and serves really good drinks. The hotel is conveniently situated so you can walk to local attractions. I definitely recommend this hotel.'

'Overall, I give this stay 4 stars. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were all wonderful. The hotel is pet friendly, which is a huge plus. My husband and I ate dinner one night in the Riverview and the food was great. We also ate breakfast in the Gun room and were impressed by what was provided with our stay. Yes, some of the rooms are small, but it is an old building so that is to be expected. Our two complaints for the trip were 1) the Riverview was closed to hotel guests one...

'Really nice historic property. Perfect for our weekend getaway. Rooms are on the third floor accessible only by stairs so not the right venue for anyone with mobility challenges. We would definitely stay again.'

'Overall we enjoyed our stay! The master bedroom doesn't get the best A/C airflow so it took a while to get to sleep at night but it was comfortable and roomy. The cabin is remote and quiet which was one of our main goals! We had a relaxing stay and enjoyed ourselves. Only downside is we did not see in the listing anywhere that said the pool wasn't open yet which was one of the reasons we chose this property. The owner's explanation made sense and they were very responsive and professional.'

'This is a great place to stay with friends or family. Jean was so nice and responsive. The entire property is beautiful. The views from the deck are amazing and we say Bluebirds! I cannot say enough positive comments about this home. It's close to Athens through the winding hills. Beautiful part of Ohio. We will be back!'
