'This is a private property with a great view of the Abajo mountains. It is a great base camp for exploring ruins, petroglyphs, national and state parks in the area. Ft. Abajo is a very comfortable home to come back to each night and they have an informative guide book to help you plan your days if needed. The town of Monticello is quieter than Moab, it had everything we needed, and it was nice to get out of the crowds.'

'This was a great stay, the camper and property were exactly as described. The roads surrounding the property are dirt, and can be pretty rutted in some places. I made it in my 2WD rental, but use caution! Wound up having a bonfire with the owner and other guests on property. Very memorable :)'

'Was just perfect for what we needed, although the bbqer wasn’t working well. Tried to cook some steaks and brats and one side never lit and the other never got hot enough. Had to end up cooking inside. Enjoyed the kitty, however my grandson was allergic.'

'It's a beautiful place with a view of the Abajo Mountains and near to lots of nature. Their were some malfunctions with the water heater, but it was fixed as quickly as possible. Owners were caring and attentive. Very peaceful and relaxing. We'd return on an another southern Utah road trip.'
