'Overall we enjoyed our stay. A couple things of note: Bringing black out shades is super helpful! The closet in the bedroom is big enough for a portable crib. Be sure to bring toilet paper. We only had one full and one partial roll between the two bathrooms(and they were paper thin). Because there isn’t anywhere super close, it’s nice to know to pack some ahead of time :) The road is so peaceful and we went on the trail quite a few times. It was a bit wet, so we didn’t make it all the way...

'No fault of the property. Expedia issue. We were attending a conference at Canaan Resort. Expedia site said that the property was 17 miles away. The conference was 60 miles away, 1 hour 15-20 minute drive'

'Love the number of bedrooms and bathrooms, plenty of linens and towels. Hot tub worked great. Proximity to the slopes at Timberline was fantastic! Main living area and table/ kitchen was suer for our big family group. Plenty of space for the kids to be crazy and play. Also lots of comfy couch space for hanging out.'

'I’m so glad we chose this property for our Timberline weekend. The location was perfect. You can see the slopes from the front windows. It was easily walkable to the lodge, which was perfect for our group. We had some in our group who were on the slopes all day, and others that were ready to return after just a few hours. The location made this hassle-free. We found the rental to be clean and well stocked, with comfortable beds, and a cozy gas fireplace. The hot tub was also a great addition....

'Clean, cozy, and comfortable! Location is close to Timberline and Canaan ski resorts. House was easy to access with no stair entrance from the front, which is great when you have little kids. King size beds in every room were comfortable and tons of closet space throughout the house. Everything is nicely updated. We would stay there again!'

'The space was roomy & cozy & equipped with everything we needed. We wanted for nothing & our hosts were near but not hovering. THEY are amazing Hosts & we're honored to have met the "mayor" of Canaan Valley. The wild life tefuge was right there. DOLLY Sods was a skip & jump & Canaan Valley State Park is amazing (but watch for ticks) We look forward to coming back!'

'Would consider this stay again, very close to hiking/scenic West Virginia, and Petersburg. The house looks bigger in person. Also, Chad and Amber live right next door, really enjoyed chatting with them when we checked out.'

This place is quiet and secluded it was very nice and didn’t seem like a rental it felt like a persons home. We were very comfortable. Also, the back patio area is amazing! We spent a lot of time sitting back there and I’m not joking when I say we cooked every meal on the blackstone grill! What a great setup!'

'This property is in a great location for skiing at Timberline. Getting to the parking lot for Timberline takes maybe 5 minutes. The home is clean, well furnished and comfortable.'
