'We chose the Azaela Cottage b/c our daughter was holding her wedding 3 doors down. But it was perfect for the parents of the bride. Far enough away from all the wedding shenanigans, but close enough we could easily help w/anything required. B/c we were there for an occasion, we didn't get to experience all the cottage/lake amenities, but it was still a lovely place to unwind & enjoy our time away from home. Would love to stay again & see more of the area.'

'We throughly enjoyed our stay. It was very quite and peaceful. If you are a fisherman, this is the place for you. Owners responded within 10 minutes to any questions or concerns. Beds were very comfortable for a good night sleep.'

'We enjoyed the cute little lake house. The weather kept us in for a few days but loved the decks, hot tub, grill, and firepit when we could dodge the rain. The kitchen was stocked to cook in, beds were comfy, nicely decorated. The area is peaceful and quiet. Missing the sounds of birds, ducks, and the grey horned owl family up in the pine tree.'

'We enjoyed the cabin and being on Lake Norman was vert relaxing and it's beautiful. Would highly recommend it and would revisit in the future. Gorgeous neighborhood and friendly neighbors.'

'We were only there for 2 nights but it was perfect for the family. The children almost disappeared playing with the toys. We had a fire pit s'mores night. The hot tub was not clean when we arrived but the owner was very responsive and it was cleaned for the next day. The hot tub service company was very nice to deal with. I'd stay here again'

'Although we didn’t get to enjoy the property very much it was really beautiful. The lake views are gorgeous. The suite is private and just as described. Really comfy bed, nice towels, coffee and coffee supplies. Dawn is really nice and we talked to her a couple times while we were there. We didn’t need anything but if we did she was very accessible and the communication was great. We would definitely stay there again if in the area.
