'We stayed at Breakwater in October 2023 with two young families. The apartment is well stocked and worked well for two couples with three kids under 4. Luke was super accomodating and provided us with pack n plays and a high chair, and was also very responsive. Location is great - walk across the street to the harbor to check out boats and birds, or walk down to the village for breakfast or dinner. We loved our stay in Southwest Harbor and at Breakwater. 'Loved this property! Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was quiet (Second floor facing a street) & comfortable for a party of 3. Enjoyed the cooked to order breakfast each morning and the afternoon treats in the lobby-including wine during happy hour. The front porch has rocking chairs to enjoy in the evening. Hotel is conveniently located to main street, many restaurants and shops within walking distance. Would definitely stay here again! '
