If you want to experience the best hotel you will ever stay at, go to the Chedi. The pools are the most amazing to relax at, the serive is beyond 5-star, you are right on the beach, the food is incredible....need I say more???? Although the Chedi has amazing restaurants, don't be afraid to try out a local Indian restaurant, the Ocean Restaurant (blocks away, and where many locals eat), Automatic or Ubhar (a short drive/cab ride away).

“A little corner of paradise....”

This was our first stay at The Chedi and definitely not our last. Everything was perfect. The staff was friendly and efficient. The food was amazing, and the infinity and long pools are beautiful. The grounds and the attention to detail are outstanding. Worth every penny!

“crazy food pries”

You will never find better. The one down side the restaurants in the hotel harge crazy prices. we only ate there the first night and were not prepared to be ripped of for our 15 days. We went to a different restaurant in Musat every night and had some great meals and we never paid more than £50 for the two of us. We will return next year but we wont be eating at the hotel........it is a short sighted policy on thier part. I can eat cheaper at the Ritz Hotel in London which also has crazy and unjustifed prices

“Great peaceful and tasteful hotel”

Superb hotel for anyone looking to relax in a peaceful and tasteful environment. Facilities are very well looked after and nicely spread around making this a very enjoyable experience (pools, restaurants, bars, beach..); staff is extremely helpful and accommodating; high level of equipment and complementary items. Some downsides, biggest one being the hotel is on a the landing path to Muscat airport, better knowing it upfront (the upside is that the ride to/from the airport is quite short). Likewise, there is an industrial site nearby, but you only see if from the see, so really not a problem. We had a Deluxe room, which should really get a soundproofing door however (you can hear whatever is happening in the corridor - fortunately, it is a rather quiet hotel). Food (and especially wine) is not cheap so the bill can easily go up, but there are entry level prices on the menu, so it can be managed. All food/drinks are of great quality though. Overall great place, so will definitely book it again!

An incredibly relaxing & beautiful hotel. The staff were exceptionally helpful and attentive, the food outstanding (amazingly they have four kitchens to cover the various different cuisines in just *one* of the their three restaurants!) and the rooms spacious & well-designed.
