'My son and I (and two dogs) stayed here for one night during a road trip for hiking. From reading the old reviews it seems like the new owners have really been putting in hard work to bring this place back to life; they are still working on it but everything was clean and amenities have been upgraded from previous photos such as flat screen tv with plenty of satellite channels and a ceiling fan with a remote (which I had to take a picture of because I loved it and want to find one for myself)....

'I arrived late at night. I simply picked up a phone by the door, and a nice gentleman came to check me in. I received my door key, and went to the room. This is the first hotel I have ever felt fine enough to walk around without socks on. The entire room was very clean. The area was quiet until morning around 7AM, but until then, silent.
