The staircase with the bathroom to the left and rooms to the right with lovely big windows was really special when used to living in a one bedroom flat in London. The town is beautiful and it's wonderful being so close to everything. The people are friendly and Northumberland is just magical. We cant wait to return one day.'

'Het was heel fijn, er lagen verschillende lekkere dingen klaar als welkomstpakket, leuke inrichting, schoon, het ontbrak ons aan niets. Het huis lag op paar honderd meter van de kliffenkust waarlangs je naar dorp en haven kon lopen, schone zeelucht, veel moois te zien in de buurt, niet dichtbevolkt, de Engelsen zijn vriendelijk en meestal in voor een praatje. Zo ook Ray en Val, de buren die het huis beheren. Kortom: we kunnen het iedereen aanbevelen!'

'This is a lovely cottage that is very well appointed. There is everything you may need in the kitchen, making it very easy to self cater. You can see Lindisfarne Castle from the back windows! Super location. This was our 3rd visit and we will return'

Only teeny issue was that Master bedroom is up very steep stairs so we snuggled up in the other bedroom: otherwise can’t fault a thing. Helen was really easy to contact and enable access.'

'We love this part of the Northumberland coast and visit regularly, and we did have a good time. I do think this cottage is overpriced for the quality of accommodation. The kitchen and main bedroom are very nice but the rest is a little tired. The furniture is miss matched flat pack and the bedding is of poor quality. One of the sofas is very uncomfortable (kids said like their student digs) the curtains are far too thin and don’t keep the cold out, we had to buy a lot of wood to keep the lounge...
