'The big things were good, with a few niggles. Great location, food is wonderful. Towels were a bit ragged on one day, no creamer supplied with in-room coffee on one day, and on-demand TV did not work for 3 days despite technician's visit.'

'Cute hotel but shocking how I got dirty sheets with semen stains on them when I checked in. I called immediately and the hotel offered to take off 1 night of parking (29 dollars) and let someone in the room while I was going to the pool. This was a nice gesture even though I was horrified with the fact that they didn't change the sheets after the last guest! to my horror, after the room was checked by room cleaning again, the sheet was STILL there! I called right away and the hotel apologized...

'Beautiful hotel and rooms, however the rooms are not very convenient. The toilet and the shower are not seperated with a door which means that when you are with a friend you can’t shower and go to the toilet at the same time, which means you have to wait. And also there is no fan in the bathroom, therefore it is very soggy after your shower. And after you go to the toilet, it will take a while before the smell will go away. And the rooms are not cleaned appropiately. I would rate this a 4 star...

'I've stayed several times at the Royal Palace due to its terrific location in Westwood and its relatively affordable rates. It has a funky exterior vibe and entry, but the rooms are large, comfortable and clean, and I have not had trouble with noise (exterior or interior). It also has free parking (many spaces are very tight - but mostly manageable). '

'Overall great stay in a modern and stylish hotel. Valet service good but a bit expensive, hotel staff could be a bit more welcoming and warm. Cooling in the room is good but on a cold night no / limited heating options. Location is very good with hollywood blv at walking distance.'
