There are some unenthusiastic reviews but I found it very much met expectations. I didn't pay for the Ritz, I paid for a clean room with comfy bed & shower & breakfast & got it.

We had stayed at a quality inn earlier in the month and it was fantastic. Walking into our room at Oxford, we realized this wasn’t really up to par. When we got in bed the sheet had an hole about the size of my index finger . The pillows were flat and worn out And sheets and some towels were worn out But I did have a very nice shower

This is our place to stay in this area. For the price it is a modest, clean and. Very convenient. We like this area and this hotel. Room 119 had a mold smell. The tv came on with the volume wide open every time. @checkin this time I walked in and there was no one or so I thought. I picked up the phone and called and a guy jumped out from behind the computer screen. He was less than a foot from me. I didn’t see him and he didn’t acknowledge me until I called and he answered the phone. Kinda awkward. Other than that it was a good value.

James was very good with customer service and very excellent in the services that I received but my only problem was at 4am someone knocked on my door and really really disturbed my rest I did tell this to James up on leaving the property

It was the most inexpensive in the area but… it’s more like an old school motel. Room never got particularly “cool” and the doors open to the parking lot. Breakfast was minimal

The hotel is in a good location close to almost everything you need. The staff was nice. The only thing I didn't like is on the room the piece of metal that divides the carpet with the tile/bathroom the nails were sticking out and my son got hurt just getting out of the shower and the fridge needs to be defrosted because it had the inside wall totally covered on ice and it wasn't cooling good.

Do NOT stay!
Stay here if you want to be given rooms with nasty used sheets in the floor in one room, then be given another room with headboards smeared with spilled drinks and other filth, bedbug activity under the bed and next to drawers. Both rooms smelled of mold and worse. There’s doors cracked open with no signs of people inside in several rooms. Totally unsafe. Then they refuse to give a refund if you go through Hotels.com.

They told me that they had just renovated and nothing really looked new and the sheets were very wrinkled and just dingy and could smell weed from the room next door! We decided we won’t stay there again!

The property is older and shows it's age. There were no working ice machines during my stay and it appeared that had been for some time. The breakfast consisted of 2 dry cereals, instant oatmeal, yogurt and fresh apples. There were no waffles, I was told the machine was broken.

We apologize about the waffle maker being broken, we had requested a repair/spare waffle maker from the supplier and they are not very accommodating about fulfilling our quests.It is very difficult to keep things consistent due to the fact many supplies such as waffles, we have a choice of one vendor and they are stretched thin.

There were several issues, the fire alarm battery had to be change on first night, the people below smoked which then the smoke rose up into our room. They changed our room and neglected to put into the system. And lastly upon our return to the room we found our room had been ransaked and we would have been robbed of all our belongings if we had not taken almost everything each time we left the hotel.

This guest forget to mention they stole all the towels out of the rooms they stayed in.Hotels always get bad reviews but guests committing petty theft is ok.

Thank you for your feedback. The breakfast has been eliminated to just a few items from the Brand itself. After Corona Virus Pandemic, everything has been severely cut due to staffing issues, supply chains, and just in general being in close space poses risks to many guests.This will be normal for most brands going forward, we understand while many other hotels offer more choices beyond what is required, this is not really an option for our hotel as a business is not steady enough yet.Thank you

Although the property was a bit of a challenge to find, because there seems to be a lack of street names in Oxford (not the fault of the property), I had a fairly comfortable relaxing stay.

Not worth the price
Was not worth the price I paid for the room that’s for sure. I don’t like spend much on rooms especially just one night to sleep but this one has hair all over the bed, roach in the bathroom. It just wasn’t really great. If it had been cheaper then maybe but not worth it for the price it was for.

Mattress was comfortable. Bathroom door could not operate unless toilet seat was up. Vanity for sink was 48” way too tall. Staff friendly. No breakfast.

Older hotel they didn’t offer breakfast which I knew but it looked like they used to have it. The room was ok bathroom door did not close properly there was a repair done to it and the door latch had been covered up. All in all I was only there for the night and it was just ok
