'We used this property as our home base as we explored the New River Gorge area. The house was just perfect for our needs. It was clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed. We enjoyed sitting on the back porch in the evening. The deer came to visit early every morning. We have some wonderful pictures. The beds were comfortable. I have some mobility issues. I took my suction cup grab bars and put them on the doors of the walk in shower and it was perfect. I cannot say enough good things...

'The house was clean. All appliances in good working order. Check in was easy. Owner easy to communicate with. She even checked in with me to make sure I got home okay. She was great to work with. Will stay there again, if I am in the New River Gorge are. Located close to attractions and out door events.'

'Great location for home basefor hiking and sight seeing. The area was cleaning up after a storm when we arrived. Power out at places, no wifi, but all was eventually restored. Take a book, as if wifi is out, there is no tv. Cell service very spotty. However the home has what you need for a nice stay. Relax and disconnect!'

'Very cute, comfortable, and well put together cottage. Supplied with everything needed and some appreciated extras . Perfect location for all our hiking adventures from the south end to the north end of the park. Just 15 minutes from Bridge. Highly recommend the Bridge Walk! Hope to be back to the area with some friends and will stay at this cottage again!'

'The house was in the center of the town and everything was very close. It is very convenient to New River Gorge and all the activities in the area. Access info was accurate and very easy. All communication with the host was timely and responsive. I recommend this house to anyone looking to explore the area.'

'We stayed two nights at the house on our trip to visit New River Gorge National Park in June. The house had everything we needed and was well stocked with kitchen supplies. We walked to Tudor's Biscuit World for breakfast one of the mornings, since it is only two blocks away. Our communication with David was great during our stay and he was quick to respond to any questions.'

'We LOVED our stay! The house had everything we needed from spices in the kitchen to hot chocolate for my boys. The dog bed and dog toy were a bonus! This was our first family trip that we brought our pup with us, and I feel now he'll get to go on every vacation. The fenced in yard was great, the view from the yard/deck was wonderful. The owners gave us a bunch of recommendations from places to hike and where to eat. Everything was wonderful!'

'The home was very close to rafting, atv, bridge walk and zip lining. It was nice to be able to cross the bridge to walk to restaurants. We had 5 people and it was perfect for us. Kitchen was nicely stocked, note there were no paper products in the kitchen. House was clean and welcome bag was a nice touch! Thanks for a great base for our trip.'

'Everyday was an adventure for our group of two couples from NJ who travel together every year. Biking (downhill was the best!), eating out at Gaines Estates and other local restaurants, grilling in, boating, and more biking were some of the highlights of our trip. We were all able to get a good night sleep for each of the five nights of our stay. The wildlife in the backyard was a bonus. Kitchen was well-stocked! Wild and wonderful time. We love West Virginia.'

'Amazing place!!!! Took us max 5 minutes to get to the park. Well needed break from the DMW. Host was engaged and responsive. Zero issues. I will definitely stay there again. Shopping was also close. An overall oasis. Host even left smores fixings for the firepit and had wood on site.'
