'The villa is amazing - the gardens and pool are fantastic. We had a wonderful time splitting time between the beach and knocking around the villa, and it couldn't have worked out better. The beach is a 5 min drive (or 20min walk) so really close and there are a few great restaurants around. # Emiliano was also a great and helpful host - would strongly recommend'

'Our family of 4 had a wonderful stay at Villa Blu! Very lovely accommodations and hosts. The house is brand new, nicely appointed with everything you will need for your stay. The outdoor space/pool are a nice retreat from the beach which is an easy walking distance away. The hosts were very responsive, answered our questions in a timely manner (both before and during our stay), and provided a useful guide to use during our stay. Thank you Gianpaolo and Vittoria! We can’t wait to be back.'

'The accommodation was even better than described. Even nearer the beach than we expected. Near bus stops to Palermo if needed. Everything was spotlessly clean. Contact with the hosts was excellent.'

'The property is as advertised and as shown in the listing. The outside porch is the star attraction with its view of the bay and the city, and very comfortable seating. It was spacious and comfortable and we all (group of 4) enjoyed our stay. 'Heerlijk schoon ruim huis met veel ruimte rondom het huis om te zitten. Alles in de buurt, strand restaurants, drankje doen, boodschappen. Eigenlijk heb je geen auto nodig. Wandelen rond capo Gallo is geweldig. Communicatie met Anna ging prima en snel via whatsapp.'

'The house is richly decorated with paintings and interesting Sicilian objects. A marvellous fully grown mediterranean garden with palm trees and a grand pool. Few minutes from the lively and atmospheric neighbourhood of Partanna/Mondello. A bit further from emblematic Mondello beach.'

'We were in Sicily for a short weekend stay and we used our time to relax at the house and to swim in the Mediterranean. The seaside views are stunning and the walking access to the sea is accurately listed. The waves can be aggressive and we did get knocked around a bit the first day getting in and out of the water, resulting in some hand, knee, and leg scrapes. We wore sandals and shorts which helped with getting in/out of the water. The second day the water was much calmer so we swam on and...

'Dit huis staat op een super locatie met een te gek uitzicht. .....maar dat is helaas ook alles. Het huis is vreselijk oud, vies en echt niet goed bij gehouden. Daarbij kun je het toilet niet gebruiken zoals je zou willen als Nederlander en is er een douche van niks en bedden met Matrassen die echt op zijn! Heel jammer!!!'

'Magnificent place! Mauro personally welcomed us into his family home with ease and attention. The house was great for our family visit. Our one year old son also had his own “pack&play” crib set up for our arrival. Beds were comfortable. Swimming pool was a great treat to have in the hot summer days. The views from the rooftop were stunning both in the day time as well as in the evening. We hope to stay here again when we come back next time.'

'Myself and a group of friends stayed here in September. Claudia was accommodating of our check-in time and was at the villa when we arrived. She gave us a tour of the house and offered to show us the neighbourhood (which is a gated residential community), and also offered to drive us to the local supermarket for our first shop. 'Das Haus ist in einem sehr guten Zustand und hat alles, was es braucht. Genügend Platz, toller Garten. Einzig die beiden Bettsofas im Wohnzimmer sind gewöhnungsbedürftig, weil es keine Rollläden im Wohnzimmer hat. Man muss mit einer Augenmaske schlafen. Alles in allem eine sehr gute Unterkunft!'

'The owners of this property scammed us out of our stay. They claimed they did not receive the booking and tried to charge us an extra $200 a night on top of what we already paid. We were left stranded in a foreign country because they wanted to be greedy. Never ever book here.'
