'Valley View Motel is a great little "get away." It's rustic, it's clean, it's quiet. If you're looking for state of the art, top of line everything, this is not the place for you. But if you want a simple little cabin, friendly check in, not many people around and just a place to relax, read, write, or watch an old movie on a small TV, then it's a great place. I come here to unplug and I feel refreshed after a night or two and am a little sad when I leave.'

'Our hosts could not have been more attentive and helpful. We were able to make day trips all around the area including Olympic National Park and Port Townsend. Our little pup enjoyed the enclosed patio and playing with our host dogs in the yard. Nice visit to a beautiful new area for us. Excellent birding at several nearby locations.'

'Lizbeth’s tiny house is cozy, modern and was perfect for our stay in Seattle to wrap up a big cross country move. Very clean, cute, comfortable and stocked with the essentials. The washer a dryer are fabulous! The tiny home is equipped with many smart features. We had 2 vehicles and had no problem finding parking. We had our dog with us and we all fit great in the tiny space. The bed was amazing! (I wish I had looked at what brand it was.) There is a darling patio with a propane fire, we enjoyed...

'A hiking/backpacking trip with a friend was canceled when my friend became ill the week before. I found this last minute cottage and it was absolutely perfect. 'The location of this charming cottage couldn’t be better. Walk to bakeries and restaurants. On-street parking readily available, with a charming outdoor area. I have to especially give a shoutout to the kitchen, which had everything you’d need to make a meal, and the interesting, charming adornments around the rooms.'

'We stayed over a long weekend. Absolutely loved the location and the cottage. It was wonderful to bring our dog with us on a vacation for the first time - he loved it, too! We heard owls and coyotes; saw blue herons, bunnies, and small birds; and enjoyed sitting on the patio in the shadow of the hemlock, cedar, maple, madrone, and Douglas-fir trees. (The view from the bathroom at sunset is incredible, too!) The cottage was thoughtfully appointed for guests and we appreciated the extra touches...

'This place was incredible! From the deck you could see Swan Lake, the Olympics, the Salish Sea, Canada, and the San Juan Islands. There were tons of Eagles and Herons all over the place. It was so peaceful and relaxing. I recommend it for ANYONE!'
