'This was a great getaway spot. We traveled for both work and pleasure. Easy to get to many downtown locations without the hassel of being downtown. Quiet neighborhood with multiple restaurants within walking distance. Gas fireplace and A/C so comfortable year round.'

'Great proximity to the beach club and other amenities. Quiet neighborhood, well manicured. Property is very well maintained and comfortable for 4 adults. Pleasant drive to port Townsend and close to other Olympic tourist attractions. A visit to Finnriver Cidery is a must.'

'My son and I enjoyed our stay tremendously. The neighborhood was quiet with a great view, there was ample street parking, and the unit was meticulously tidy and well stocked with everything you need. No problems with anything and host kept in touch to ensure everything went smoothly.'

'We had an enjoyable stay at this hidden gem. The owner is very friendly and he has thought of everything to make his guests comfortable. If you could possibly need it, it’s already there. We would recommend this condo! On a side note, the address is wrong on the site. It was about 15 minutes away from where we thought it was. Not a deal breaker, but if you’re staying here to go to Olympic National Park, plan on a slightly longer drive.'

'Itbwas a little small, more like a hotel room than anything. However, it was nice and quiet, and the overall ambiance of the room was nice. The hot tub was absolutely fantastic.'

'Overall the stay was great. I really enjoyed the binder that explained the history of the building. It was slightly frustrating when I was told last minute that my check-in time was delayed. Most everything was clean but the fan over the bed was very dusty. Other things that would have been nice were an ironing board and a hairdryer.'

'Valley View Motel is a great little "get away." It's rustic, it's clean, it's quiet. If you're looking for state of the art, top of line everything, this is not the place for you. But if you want a simple little cabin, friendly check in, not many people around and just a place to relax, read, write, or watch an old movie on a small TV, then it's a great place. I come here to unplug and I feel refreshed after a night or two and am a little sad when I leave.'

'Everrything was so clean, it was quiet. We walked easily to downtown historic Ballard. It was so easy to get Uber when we wanted to go further out from Ballard. Wonderful place! Highly recommend!!'
