'My boyfriend and I found this unique space a PERFECT abode for us! It was incredibly well kept, spacious and had a sweet outdoor area to enjoy the local wildlife. We had the good fortune to see two deer and many boisterous birds from the comfort of the front porch. Such a cozy, welcoming home. Thank you so much for the wonderful space!'

'Cute little place. Provided a keurig but only had tea. No big deal just noting. Bathroom lighting is not great. Heating is hot as hades or cold. Hard to find happy medium with baseboard heat but to be expected. If you’re parking an SUV, plan to finagle your way out. Overall, I was happy with this unit.'

'Pete's Place is in a beautiful and peaceful location nestled in the woods. We enjoyed the cabin and all it offered. The birds singing and coffee out on the deck was relaxing. It was close to the local lakes for fishing. We enjoyed our stay and didn't want to leave! Can hardly wait for the next opportunity to come back here.'

'The property's best feature is the amazing view. The area is nice and the house had lots of books, lamps, kitchen supplies and things to make it comfortable. Vacasa is another story. Very difficult in their correspondence and an unusually early check out time of 10 am. When asking for check out at 11 am, I finally heard back and they offered 2 pm for an extra charge! Rip off. Never was connected to the hosts, just Vacasa reps.'

'There was Zero help from anyone.The toilet broke on our first day(monday)still wasn't working on Wednesday.We called in to the managers.Nothing but promises.SO we had to run into town whenever we had to go.(or out in the woods).The water system is not legal. 'Our stay at The Cabin was just great! The weather allowed the three kids in our party to play outside for hours and hours—they loved the lawn when the tide was high and the beach when the tide was low. Everyone was charmed by the log cabin interior and the stairs to the third bedroom were fun for us. The kitchen and bathrooms were nice and we appreciated the seating options since there were seven of us. I’m not sure when we’ll have the opportunity to go back but would consider The Cabin again!'

'We enjoyed the opportunity to take a winter break at this comfortable cabin on Wye Lake. Check in was easy and verything we needed was available. The weather was nice enough for a peaceful kayak paddle around the lake.'

'If you're looking for the perfect place to relax and get some perspective on life, this is it. If you're fussy about every little detail, maybe this isn't. The awesome view, the privacy, the sauna, comfortable beds, great wood burning fireplace, all the important things are here. It's very rural, so as you might expect, the decks were covered in leaves, pine cones, broken branches, plus quite a few cobwebs throughout the house, things we read other renters complain about but don't bother us....
