The fact that you have a pool within arms distance and access to two private beaches we couldn’t have asked for anything better! 'We have been to Hawaii several times over the years and absolutely loved our stay here. The pictures on line look nice but it's much nicer seeing it in person. Beautiful place! The owners have done a terrific job with decorating the place, a mixture of modern and Hawaiian. Everything is carefully laid out making the stay very nice. All the beach gear you need is here, and the lanai is so pleasant! We had a great stay and will try to return some day. Aloha!'

'This little cottage was great for a couple - wonderful back yard with great lounges and a perfect place to relax, enjoy the ocean, and watch whales. The only thing that would have made it better would have been a few kitchen supplies like oil or seasonings and maybe foil or wrap. Otherwise the kitchen is well stocked with cooking utensils. We would definitely stay again!'

'Kolea one of best Kohala options. This listing great value. Best for active vacationers. No significant view but beach a very short walk away. More importantly, even better beaches and many iconic island activities are easily accessed. Use Revealed guidebook. Kids can be noisy.'
