'The decor, the upkeep the amenities! Unfortunately the neighbor I properties need work and are unkept but won’t keep me from staying at casa costera in the future. My family and I loved it!'

'First off, I would like to say that Ivannie and Jose, we’re very accommodating hosts. Jose was easy to talk to and responded promptly and was always professional. The area was nice. There are a couple of bars, wonderful small restaurants, and a delicious coffee shop that all are in walking distance. We tried about 4 restaurants in the area, and all were great! The beach (literally a 5 minute walk) was the best part. Keep in mind that there are apartment complexes that block the ocean view, so...

'Loved how cute this apartment is, felt very homey and the owner was very kind. Complimentary transportation from the airport from a very kind sweet woman named Virginia. Loved the art in the area and the lively streets of Loíza. Walking distance from the beach and all of the food spots and bars. 7 minute drive from viejo San Juan. Will stay book again next visit! '

'Overall the stay was great. The unit we had definitely looked a bit aged but it was clean and provided a good amount of space for the 5 adults in our group. The kitchen was fully stocked with anything we would need, an electric grill was available, there were some pool toys and folding chairs as well. Gated entry was quick and easy unless someone at the front of the line was checking in, then it could be quite delayed which happened to us a couple times in the three days we were there. 'Stayed for one night in the Marlin and it was perfectly adequate for me. I would definitely try to stay here again if I’m in the area. The check-in and checkout process is simple and easy to understand. Only cons for me would be the small bed and shower (I’m 6’2”). It’s a camper so that’s to be expected and it wasn’t a big issue. I do wish it was closer to more restaurants and places. You’ll probably have to drive/Uber to get anywhere. Also make sure to get a parking spot if you want to...

'Property was difficult to find according to the address, but the accommodations were nice and clean. The host did not speak English, which made it difficult. Even texting was all in Spanish.'

'We loved this place and would definitely stay again. It was comfortable and clean, had nice amenities, and was within walking distance to a few restaurants and Ocean Beach. It’s a bit further from some of the nicer restaurants but Ubers were cheap so it was a good spot for our first visit to Puerto Rico.'

'I had much confusion regarding the location of the property. I am familiar with Puerto Rico and followed VRBO directions to visit the property days before I was to rent. It led me to a horrific property outside of the neighborhood. I was so appalled, with what I found, I panicked. I tried to cancel the reservation to no avail as the host and I went back and forth. I was enormously relieved when I received the check in information with the exact address on the day the rental was to start. Only...

'The property was comfortable and clean. Parking was easy and everything was close by (but not walkable). Communication was a little difficult due to language barrier, texting is definitely easier. To find the place, use the address given, NOT how Google maps wants you to go.'

'We stayed at the Royal Sonesta for a Local wedding. We loved the location on the beach which was very clean. The staff were extremely pleasant. It made us realize how easy it is to get to PR for a short vacation in the sun.'

'Hotel is beautiful- main pool area is stunning! Staff was very helpful and went out of their way at every opportunity. Great location, several great restaurants within walking distance. Our room was immaculate, spacious, king size bed facing a stunning ocean view. Cannot say enough about this place! Highly recommend!!'
